A/N

For those that watch AOT (Attack on Titan) you may have realized what I did with the title of this chapter. I felt the need to do it. I'm so stupid...Anyway, I'll let you read now. Hope you like it.

Wolf's POV

I watched as Link started climbing the side of a tower attached to the castle. At first I worried about him falling off, but he seemed to know exactly what he was doing, so I didn't worry too much anymore.
I settled down next to the horse in the grass, and looked around at the landscape. Fields of tall grass surrounded us, but a little ways away, a weird metal thing started heading in my direction. I looked to Link to make sure that wasn't what the robot was heading for, but he had just entered the small tower entrance at the top. Looking back to the robot, my senses kicked in. This robot was heading straight for me, trying to kill.
Before I attacked, I nipped at the horse's back leg to get it running before it gets hurt. Now the robot was right in front of me, trying to shoot me. Looking down, I saw that its legs/claws were very flimsy. This gave an idea.
Dodging the lazers as they flew past me, I rammed into one of the legs to put it a little off balance, then rounded to its other side. My teeth hurt a little as I bit down as hard as I could until I felt the flimsy leg break in half. As I look back up, I saw the guardian shoot another lazer, but this time, I couldn't dodge it quick enough. Pain seared through my right side as it scraped against my flesh. I willed my self up, then went straight for another leg. This time, as I lay down, the robot flung its leg as it broke, sending me flying into the field. It seemed to happen in slow motion, and as soon as my side came in contact with the grass, I let out a loud high pitched yowl. I lay there in pain, waiting for the robot to shoot me as it slowly walked over, since two legs were gone.

Link's POV

As the memory of the King scolding Zelda ended, I heard a high pitched sound of despair come from the fields around the castle. I frantically looked for Bandit and my horse where I left them, but they weren't there! Darn it Link. Why didn't you hide them from... anything! I mentally scolded myself. Trying to think fast, I climbed to the tip of the small tower and looked around. A little ways away from where I left them, I saw a Guardian slowly crawl to a figure on the floor. It looked like a boy, and he was bleeding badly. If I didn't do anything, the Guardian would mercilessly kill him. Using my paraglider, I flew down to the boy and used Daruk's Protection just in time to block the lazer shot at him. I pulled out my sword and used it to block the next lazer. As the Guardian recharged, I took this chance to amputate its legs, causing it to fall over. It hit it with a final blow straight through the head. As I did so, it disappeared into a cloud of darkness like every creature does when you defeat it, then left behind so gears, screws, and a core. Remembering the boy that the Guardian attacked, I ran over to him. To my surprise, instead of finding the boy, I found Bandit.
After finding him, I remembered my horse. I gave a whistle, and soon over the hill came my horse. Back to Bandit, I found his right side was covered in blood from a deep gash, and he was out cold. As careful as I could, I lifted Bandit onto the horse, then hopped on. I had the horse walk quick, but slow enough not to harm Bandit.
As we ride, I couldn't stop thinking how the boy was replaced by Bandit. Was he able to shapeshift? No. If he could he would have done that to introduce himself. Is he lying? No. He saved me and now he won't leave my side. He wouldn't do that...right? Well whatever happened, I'm going to figure it out.
We rode all morning until we got to the nearest stable. I decided we would stay here till morning so that we could head to Kakariko Village at dawn to get Bandit fixed up. It stopped bleeding, but the gash would get infected if it wasn't treated.
I talked to the man and got him to give me a two soft beds free. Gently, I set down the dark green/grey wolf on one of the beds, then went to do the same to myself. The soft breathing of the wolf lulled me into a dreamless sleep.
