Matt's POV

"I uh have to go." Callie says running out. I could see tears forming in her eyes and it actually hurt me to see her like that. Devon was talking my ear off probably something along the lines of,
"Callie was ugly I never liked her" which makes me mad, but I don't understand why i'm mad. She was a girl I used to get to Devon but now I feel like I really want to know her, so, I did what I should've done. I ran after her.

Callie's POV

I unlocked the door going to my room to lay down immediately. I pulled out my phone an saw that I had 28 missed calls and 16 voice mails. All from Matt. I listened to one.

Hey it's Matt. I realized what I have done and honestly I can't apologize enough. I thought that Devon was who I wanted to be with but honestly I don't. Callie I really want to-

That's all that could be heard before the voice mail cut off. I groaned wanting to know what he was going to say. I suppose I could call but I don't know. Oh what the heck. I pick up my phone and called Matt.

"Hello?" Matt says.

"Hey i-it's Callie." I stutter.

"Oh hey..." He says awkwardly.

"I just wanted to know what you were going to say in that last voice mail." I say quietly.

"Oh i-i was going to say i-i like you." I suck in a sharp breath not knowing what to say so I hang up. No, No, No, No! I start thinking. Why do I feel slightly happy.
