Matt's POV
Callie looked absolutely terrified as to what she just saw. We were kissing finally then some random guy I guess who's name is Cayden ruined it. Obviously she knew him or else she wouldn't have looked terrified, which is what I'm wondering about. Why did she looked so terrified.
"Callie?" I say shaking her for the third time. She finally acknowledges me fear in her eyes. Why is she afraid.
"What's wrong." I ask cautiously. She looks as if she could cry or snap someone's neck.
"He's back." She mumbles looking at the bed.
"What who's back?" I ask looking into her face for any clues.
"Cayden." She says softly.
"Who is Cayden." I ask.
"My brother." She says again staring at the door this time.
"Okay then why did you look terrified to see him? Shouldn't you be happy, I mean, it seems like you haven't seen him in a while." I ask stating the obvious.
"I'll tell you. I was 12 and he was 17...." She starts.
Callie's POV
Flashback
"Callie do you want to help me with something?" Cayden asks coming in my room and sitting on the end of the bed.
"Umm sure." I say putting down the book I was reading making sure to mark my page. He led me downstairs and out the back door to the shed. We came out to the front of the shed. I looked down randomly a little shocked to see what I saw. A blood splatter evident on the ground in front of me.
"Cay what's that?" I ask nervously pointing to the dried blood on the ground.
"You'll see." He says opening the shed. I close my eyes trying to figure out what he meant by 'you'll see'.
"Open your eyes Cal." He says from behind me. I open my eyes and scream. A dead body covered in blood lay on the table.
"What is this!" I yell looking at Cay-Cayden grinning wildly.
"This is what you're going to help me get rid of." He says fiercely. Enough to startle me. I ran into the house. Cayden hot on my heels. I lock the door and get the phone. I quickly call 911 on my own brother.
End of Flashback.
