Break Up

I was sitting in my room just starring at my ceiling thinking about her. She's been with him for 2 months now and I just can't believe I missed my chance with her, well I didn't miss my chance cause there never was one.

Lauren Jauregui. Yup, I've been in love with her for god knows how long. We grew up together in Miami, ever since we met when we were just kids I knew she was the love of my life but I also knew she would never say yes which broke my heart a bit but I learned how to deal with it over the years.

Boyfriend after boyfriend and every time one of them broke her heart she would come running to me. I mean I really wanted to punch the living life out of all of them but I knew I couldn't I couldn't tell her about my feelings for her. The their girls know I like her- no love her, she's been clueless all her life.

The girls tell me I should just go ask her because she likes me too. I don't believe them, she doesn't like girls. She never will or else she would have told me, best friends don't keep those types of secrets away from each other right?

I was startled by someone barging into my room. I quickly open my eyes and look at the person who was standing there. Ally. "Y/n!" She almost yells which makes me jump. "I'm in front of you ally what's up?" I ask. She grabs my hand and practically drags me out of the house.

Once we get in the car she starts talking "It's about Lauren" I practically roll my eyes. She hasn't been talking to me recently and I just don't know why. "I don't know and I don't care" I say crossing my arms. "We all know that the biggest lie you've told y/n, Lauren has and will always have a special place in your heart" ally says glancing over to me.

I let out a sigh and signal her to continue. "What about her" I say and pull my phone out. "Ty, he broke up with her because of the age gap"

My eyes widened and I look at Ally. I immediately got furious. "I told her not to go after him!" I practically yelled. "I fucking told her he's gonna break her heart like every other guy out there" I say closing my eyes. "Y/n calm down, she's at her house with the girls she won't stop crying and she says she wants to talk to you. Call her" she tells me and I sigh. "Alright".

I call Lauren and she immediately picks up the phone. "Y-y/n" I hear her sniffle. "Laur, I'm coming over" I say softly and hear her softly crying. I hear Dinah in the background "I'm going to kick his god damn ass. I warned him if he did this to her I would cut his balls off!" She yells making Lauren giggle a little making me smile. "Language DJ" ally yells.

We finally make it to Lauren's house and I knock on the door. Moments later Mani opens the door. "Y/n" she says and hugs me. "Hey mani where's Lauren?" I ask taking my shoes off. "In her room she refuses to leave open her door.

I nod and quickly walk up the stairs. "Lauren?" I ask softly while knocking. "Y/n/n?" She says in a sad tone. "It's me Open up" I hear shuffling and footsteps moving closer and closer to the door. The lock turns and I see her. She's a mess, almost immediately she jumps up and hugs me. "Lauren" I say in a sad tone I don't like seeing her sad. She just pouts and puts her face in the crook of my neck. I walk over to her bed and lay down with the still clinging on.

"What's wrong my big baby?" I ask hopefully lighting up the mood. "My heart hurts y/n/n" she says and pouts. "My poor lo lo, when I see him I'm gonna mess his face up ok? For you" I says and kiss her forehead. She immediately smiles.

"There's that beautiful smile" I says and smile back at her. I wipe the tears the start to form again and hug her.

After 30 minutes of Lauren crying she finally decided to get up from her bed and go to the kitchen. "Hold my hand" she says in a baby voice. I laugh and intertwine our hands.

As we walk down the stairs we see the girls talking to an unfamiliar figure. "Please leave ty she doesn't want to see you" I hear mani say. "I just want to talk to her" I hear Ty say and he we make eye contact. "Lauren" he says and pushes himself toward her. She moves back and goes behind me.

"Ty please leave" Lauren says with a shaky voice. "I just want to talk to you please 5 minutes" he asks and I look atLauren to see if it's ok.
