Moving to stretch after a very comfortable night's rest, Jason felt the doctor's chest above him. Opening his eyes he saw him arched over him, staring intently at the door. "Jason...love..." the beaked doctor whispered, "You need to go...they're going to come in any second.." He sounded nervous or distressed. The way the doctor was half on top of him made him blush. "D-doctor..." Jason squirmed a little.
"Please...just go.." The doctor said again. The spirit heard the heavy hiss of the door and a flash of blinding light flooded the room. In that moment the spirit grabbed his command coat and vanished as fast as that flash of light.

Back within the confines of his own cell, he was out of breath from the sudden jolt. "I need to find my combadge..." the spirit muttered to himself and sat on the edge of his bed with a long sigh. He looked up from hearing the familiar hiss of the door opening. "Hello again 931. How about I introduce you to one of our other SCPs." The scientist spoke as she revealed a little grey tabby in her arms. "Meet SCP-529."
The spirit approached with curiosity as the cat looked up at him and meowed sweetly. "Hi there little one." He smiled and went to pet her until he noticed the other half of the cat was missing. "Wha..." Jason looked confused but pet the cat regardless.
"You can call her Josie. She's a favorite. I knew you'd like her. She likes everyone she meets." She chuckled softly. "Also forgive me for not introducing myself earlier. Just call me Anna."
"Nice to officially meet you, Anna...and Josie." Jason smiled again.
"So I want to introduce another SCP to you..this one I have in mind is a bit more dangerous. But being what you are I don't think you have a thing to worry about. It's an euclid." Anna said, gesturing him to follow. "It's been sedated so it'll be easier to approach. It's touch is known for turning it's victims into mindless zombies. But since you're already...dead in a sense it will have no effect on you. Or at least I'm sure it won't."

Jason was really nervous. He's dealt with deadly creatures in the past but he's never heard of something capable of bringing the dead to life as a zombie. He knew of zombies being demonic entity controlling a corpse but not controlled by a living being. Not even paying attention to the dossier, the scientist entered the cell with the spirit in front and instantly recognized the figure leaning up against the wall, struggling to move. "L-little dove....is...that you..?" They both heard.
"D-doctor?" Jason gasped softly seeing the weakened state of his friend. The spirit cautiously walked over to the doctor's bedside and sat beside him, at the edge of the bed. "Oh doctor..." Was all the spirit could muster, the sight of the doctor half conscious hurt him. He reached over and hugged him gently, head laying on his collarbone. "I am alright dove...please do not worry..." The beaked doctor finally said.
Anna stood there shocked, she's never seen anyone act like that around the SCP. Most would refuse to get anywhere near his cell but Jason had no sign of fear around the doctor. If anything they were being exceptionally loving towards one another.
She watched as 049 weakly placed his hand on the spirit's head, running his fingers through his feathery black hair with slow and gentle motion.

"..love you.." 049 muttered quietly, "...my sweet little dove.." The skin exposed under the mask seemed a few shades red as he said those words. Almost seem to have tears in his eyes. Jason lifted his head and looked into his eyes with shock before a loving smile formed on his face. "Oh Doctor..." Jason spoke softly as tears began forming in his eyes too, "I-I love you too.."

The Doctor leaned in, tilted his head to one side and the spirit felt a pair of warm lips press to his own. Jason instantly melted into the kiss as he returned the favor. 049 was very mindful of his beaked mask as he leaned in more. Making soft, deep keening noises as his tongue gently teased the ghost's lips before pulling back, trying catch his breath. The Doctor caressed Jason's face as he held passionate eye contact with him.

The scientist had slowly walked out after witnessing that moment between them.

The spirit and the Doctor kept their focus on each other. Jason had a visible blush on his face, he couldn't help but reach out and lovingly touched the exposed skin on the side of the doctor's face. "I hope you know how important you are to me..it's been four centuries since anyone has shown me love like you have." Jason said, voice soft and quivering with tears brimming his eyes.

"You're giving me love that I've never had...y-you are precious to me..." the once unemotional Doctor let his barriers go. There were no need for them anymore as centuries of neglect and pain left his eyes coming down in beads, glittering the sides of the keratinous muzzle.

Jason couldn't take it, he leaned in and hugged the Doctor tightly.

Little did they know the energy of their love reached the hearts of the onlooking guard and scientist watching them from outside the cell.

"Have you ever seen anything like that, Dr. Anna?" The guard asked quietly.

"Never in all my years..." Anna spoke with disbelief. "Keep 931 in there with him...I need to document this..."
