"Hi gorgeous," I swung the door open and was greeted by Lennon's grinning face.

"Oh my gosh, Len. Hey. Zara isn't here yet, come in," I giggled and flushed at his compliment, opening the door wider. He stepped into the foyer and I shut it behind him, smiling at his presence.

"It's good to see you. If Zara's not here yet, we have some time then...?" he raised his eyebrows suggestively and placed his hands on my hips, pressing my tightly against the wall and pressing his lips to mine.

The kiss started off slow, mouths closed, but it slowly progressed into something more and his tongue found its' way into my mouth. He moved to kiss my jaw, then my neck, then started sucking at the soft skin on my collarbone, and I was about to rip his clothes off when the doorbell rang.

"Hi, Ari! I hope I'm the first one here!" Zara's voice chirped through the door.

"Oh, Jesus," I gasped for breath, stumbling away from Lennon. He placed his fingers over his swollen, bright red bottom lip, grinning cheekily. I pushed his shoulder lightly with a giggle, tugging at his messy blonde hair.

He turned to me with an innocent face, biting his bottom lip hard. I sucked in a breath, my heart leaping. He knew that drove me insane. "Stop," I mumbled, placing a kiss on his jaw. His breathing sped up and his hands somehow became tangled in my hair.

"Hellooooo? Ari?"

"Dammit," I growled, pushing myself away from Len and pulling the door open. Immediately, Zara's eyebrows went up.

"Am I interrupting something?" she stifled a giggle, brushing past me and patting a spot on my neck that was surpisingly sore. Somewhat surprised, I turned to look into a mirror, and saw a purplish hickey on my neck in plain sight.

"Oh shit," I sighed, turning to glare at Lennon. He held his hands up defensively, chuckling.

"You could've stopped me!"

"You could've stopped yourself," I rolled my eyes with a huff. "Anyways, then."

"What do you guys want to do?"

"JUST DANCE!" Len and Zara screamed at the same time, bright smiles stretching across their faces. I rolled my eyes again. They could deny their similarities all they wanted, but it was still obvious that they were almost twins.

"Fine, fine," I laughed. "Anyone want alcohol? My parents forgot to hide it."

"Only something light," Lennon agreed, unconsciously ruffling his hair with his hand. That quirk was always so adorable to me.

"Okay, do you want Mike's Hard Lemonade?" I asked, walking to the fridge with my best friend and boyfriend at my heels.

"Sure," Len chirped, and I turned to Zara, detecting a slight frown on her lips.

"What about you, best friend?" I chirped, slinging my arm around her waist and pulling her in.

"The same, I guess," she shrugged, looking a bit wary. That was kind of weird, she usually loved a good drink.

"Alright, chill," I nodded, grabbing three bottles out of the fridge and tossing one to each of them. I popped the cap and took a long gulp before walking to the living room. The silence was getting on my nerves so I turned to them, squinting irritably.

"What?" Zara stifled another laugh, and I saw that half of her bottle was already gone. As much as she loved drinking, she was still a lightweight, so I took the bottle from her and placed it on the table.

We turned on Just Dance and played it, dancing like crazy people, and I hoped that we wouldn't get too distracted; but 30 minutes later we were drunk.

"IIIII feel funny," Lennon admitted, chuckling. His eyes wouldn't stay off of me, darkened with lust, and I felt uncomfortable with Zara in the same room.

"Meeeee too," Zara giggled, taking another long chug.

"Maybe we should stop," I said hesitantly. I was the only somewhat sober person in the house.

"No, NO, let's call people! We should have a party!" Zara cheered, reaching for her phone, but I grabbed it quickly, frowning.

"We can't. My parents would never trust me again."

"Party poooooper," Zara frowned, rubbing her eyes with her hands.

"Let's just go to bed," I muttered in annoyance. This night hadn't gone the way I wanted it to.

"I'm cool with that," Lennon said with a wink, causing Zara to laugh hysterically. I frowned at both of them.

"I'm going to sleep," I finally said awkwardly, getting up and walking out of the room. I laid down on the other couch, taking a few deep breaths and closing my eyes.

In the other room I could hear Zara and Lennon laughing hysterically, and then it was somewhat quieter, with the occasional mumbling of words. I began drifting off to sleep.

Some time later, I was awakened by a loud thump.

Heart thudding, my eyes flew open and I blinked the glare of sleep from my blue eyes. "Hello?" I called in a raspy voice, sitting up. The lights were still on, making me squint, and I looked over at the clock. 3:17 AM.

"Helloooo?" I called again, remembering that I'd heard a noise.

Getting up, I decided to see if Zara and Len were still up. Going into the other living room, I stared at the scene before me. Zara was lying on the coach, her head almost touching the floor and her feet thrown over the pillows. Lennon was lying over her stomach, his head mashed into a giant pillow, his snoring loud. They looked like they'd both have wicked hangovers in the morning.

I heard another thudding noise and leaped half a foot in the air, turning around quickly. "Hello?" I called again, my blood pumping rapidly. "HELLO?"

A slight hissing noise made my blood run cold, and I approached the computer room where it had come from. "Hello?" I repeated meekly, my voice in a whisper.

Before I could do anything, a dark shape shot out of the room, long hair flapping behind it. It's long arms were streaming out behind it unnaturally, moving in an odd way. It was sprinting towards me, a bone chilling hissing noise seeping out of it's unmoving bloody lips.

A blood curdling scream left my lips as it approached me faster, and I turned to sprint away. This thing was the scariest thing I'd ever witnessed in my life.

A cold touch on my shoulder made me fall to the ground, curling my frail body into a ball and sobbing hysterically, screaming for the thing to screw off.

"ARI! ARI!" The repeating of my name made my blood run cold and I curled into myself tighter, my throat feeling sore and stripped of skin from how much I'd screamed.

Leave, leave, LEAVE!

My lips were dry and cracked and I flicked my tongue out, licking them unhesitantly, biting my tongue. Tasting metallic blood, I wiped it away, shuddering and shaking.

After a few more repeated cries of my name, hands touched my shoulders and wrenched my chin up, making me look into the face of Lennon. Bright lights made me flinch, and my eyes narrowed immediately against the pain. Lennon's face was twisted in pain from my obviously loud screaming piercing his hungover head, but I continued sobbing, staring up at him in twisted agony.

"What time is it?" I managed to ask. He pointed to the clock, and I looked. 8 AM. How...?

"What the hell happened?" Zara snapped bitterly, entering the room. Her black hair was tangled around her pale face and her lips were twisted in annoyance.

"I don't know, I walked in and Ari was screaming 'leave', curled into a ball on the floor."

"It's only like 3:30," I said slowly, biting my lip. They both looked at me strangely.

"It's 8 in the morning, babe," Len said softly, reaching down to take my hand. "What HAPPENED last night?"

"Nothing," I replied, tearing my hand away. Maybe it had been a dream, nothing more.
