Everlasting

Ch.20

Ginny POV

It has been a few months now I'm eight and half months along. Harry came home last week. I was glad when he did. I missed his presence in the house. His presence at night when I went to bed or in the morning always there when I had morning sickness.  It was only one more month till I would be holding a little being in my arms a little life. I got to hear his heartbeat last week.

1 week earlier at Ginny's control

Padma swished her wand and I was met with the constant thump of my baby's heartbeat. I felt so happy to hear that sound. I had gone in with Harry because he arrived the day previous to the exams. We were filled with a recomforting feeling when Padma told us that everything was fine with the baby and that the white spot had vanished. Our due date was scheduled for May 1 of  2004

Half a month more and this was done. Half a month till I hold my baby in my arms. Talking about my baby we redid his whole nursery because we had previously painted it pink totally confident it would be a girl. Turns out the baby was a boy. So much for the idea of a girl. Well, we called our friend Dean who after Hogwarts became a painter. Not an ordinary painting though. Dean painted moving paintings. every single one of his painting moved. The one in the nursery was colored in Gryffindor colors with quidditch patterns all around the walls the players flying around all over the walls.

We had hopes that he would become a Quidditch player like us but if he did not then that would be okay too. Teddy was not very happy that the new room for the baby was bigger than his.  we explained to him that he was going to get a bigger room when he became a big boy. I started having really bad back pain last week and it hasn't gone away. I called the doctor and he gave me a remedy and heat compresses. I had to floo over to Hermione's as we had lunch at her house. 

I arrived at the cozy home of Weasley manor.

the warmth of the fireplace across from me enveloped me immediately after I stepped from the floo fireplace entrance.

I yelled Heloooooo

Ron? Hermione?

I'm on my way down wait a minute!! screamed a pregnant Hermione from the top of the marble staircase

Hermione walked down the staircase her curly hair up in a bun and her dress flowing around her.  Her baby bump showing slightly making her look more radiant and beautiful.  She quickly came over to me and gave me and hug. Ron followed her and walked down the staircase in a not so graceful manner, almost tripping in the last step. Hermione ushered me into the living room. The table was set up with a variety of foods. All of her and my favorites. We ate and chatted about the pregnancies and how everything was going. I told them about the baby's room and about how I was going to have a private birth because I did not want the press there.

Hermione announced she was pregnant a few months ago and she was due a bit after my pregnancy but only by 1 month.

I can't wait for this pregnancy to be over she said with a mouth full of mashed potato

really it sounded like

I hwaunt huiat or this fregnacfy thoo be over.

I laughed at that and said me too

We continued talking and eating

Hermione glanced at the clock 

My God is that the time

It was 4 o clock

We had been here quite some time now

Harry was going to be home in a few hours and I wanted to bake him something good to surprise him when he gets home. Omg Teddy is also on his way with Andromeda.

Guys I forgot that Teddy I coming over to the house and I got to go.

Oh hurry then Hermione said

I hugged her and said goodbye to the both of  them and headed over to the fireplace

I arrived back home just in time as the second fireplace crackled and in came andromeda carrying Teddy in her arms

I greeted both of them and said goodbye to her 

30 minutes later

I sat in the kitchen looking through some cookie recipes to determine the type of cookie I was going to bake

I landed on the classic chocolate chip cookie but with a twist a chocolate chip cookie with cheesecake stuffing

30 min later

I put the last tray in the oven and closed it. I grabbed Teddy a snack.

teddy had been very helpful around the house lately

He cleaned his bed and dressed himself

Soon night set in and sleep overtook teddy's small being. 

I carried him up to his room and laid him on the bed.

I quickly tip toe out of the room and went to run the water in the bathtub so I could take a bubble bath.

I heard a noise in the room and quickly realized that I forgot the baked cookies downstairs so I quickly walked down the long flight of stairs and then down the bridge connecting the two sides of the manor and finally down to the kitchen

I quickly grabbed the cookies but them on a platter and took them upstairs because I knew Harry would come up to see me.

I ran the shower and took a long relaxing bath 

I pulled and towel around me and walked out of the bath and over to the closet

I grabbed silk white soft pajamas and threw them on.

I made my way to the bed and turned on the tv to watch some Netflix.

My room was very big the bathroom had a door the led to the closet and then there was another door that went into the bedroom.

I climbed up  on the bed and picked a show 

I ended up with grey's anatomy and started watching when I heard  a loud noise downstairs then a loud  Oww followed by a Ginny im home

I yelled im in the room and Teddy is here.

Harry's Pov

I stumbled as soon as i got through the door on a baby toy that ginny left laying around the house.

I made my way through the house and up the stairs to our room

There she was watching intentley the tv and a plate of warm baked chewey cookies next to her

Hey she said when she realized i was there and patted the spot beside her

i jumped on the bed and said

soo what are we watching

hmm some grey's anatomy she said through a mouth full of cookies

and so we watched  and soon we fell asleep
