It very wonderful to see a child grow up. And it is incredible how fast time passes you by. It felt as if it were yesterday when she was lying on the hospital bed holding her new baby in her arms. Two years have passed them by and her child was now a toddler. He was growing and developing more each day. She was snapped out of her reverie by her husband placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. Once again she was brought back to party planning. She looked over her shoulder and kissed Harry.
Grabbing a tray full of food she made her way to the living room placing it on a light oak wood table on top of the sheer tablecloth.
She tied her apron on as she re-entered the kitchen and prepared herself for the long hours that were yet to come.

Ginny made her way to the speaker that was lying right on top of the cabinets.
Standing on her tippy toes she grabbed the speaker and turned it on putting it back to where she found it.
Scrolling through her playlist she chose the on that said some weird title she gave it.
Music started blasting through the house

as she baked the cake that was to be given to the guests
they were going to be piling into the house in just a few hours
She put the cake in the oven and with her hip shut the oven
She then placed the cake on a cake holder that spun around
the cake frosting was blue decorated with some of James favorite toys.
There was a wand that didn't work but it served for decoration he loved playing around with his fake wand, there was a bear , the stuffed plushie they got him at birth, and finally his favorite toy in the world Mr. Hugsies.
This toy was especially important to James as it was the one he hugged whenever he got scared or felt lonely.
it was only right to include it in.
2 hours later
the clock marked 1p.m when ginny got out of the kitchen. She had been cooking for more than half a day there.
Exhausted ginny stumbled up the stairs and into her bedroom.
She collapsed on the bed not even setting an alarm
not soon after her head touched the soft white pillow
she fell asleep
she was suddenly wakened up from her deep slumber only by the doorbell ringing
quickly standing up pushing past the dizziness of standing up so quick she rushed to the window.
the first guest had arrived
rushing down the steps her apron and old t-shirt and shorts still on she opened the door to reveal her mum
a relieved sigh escaped her lips.
Molly Weasley took in the sight of her young daughter
Her hair was up in a messy bun, she had flour stains on her apron, and overall she looked like a mess
Ginny dear go take a shower and change ill finish the rest of the prep
where do i leave this gift she said showing Ginny the beautifully wrapped blue striped gift
ginny led her mum towards the table for gifts and Molly carefully placed hers there
Looking at the time she saw there was only a 3 hours left ill the guest began to arrive.
Rushing up the steps and going to her bathroom she ran the water and took all her clothes up.
stepping into the shower she thought about the outfit she would wear
not only that but she also had to take care of james who was currentley sleeping
She finished taking the shower and then hopped out
quickly she blow dryed her hair aplied her makeup styled her hair and went out to the master bedroom
Slipping into a purple flowy dress with black high heels she finished her looks just in time for the door bell to ring
she gracefully welcomed Hermione and Ron in
they were followed by more people
as the rest of the guest started to pour in she continued to stand there welcoming them in
Harry came down holding a handsome looking James in his arms
they all rushed to him
cooing all over the place
It was the best birthday and everything went as planned
they played his birth film and his first steps laughing and crying as they all rejoiced in the memory of him as a baby
