Henry's POV
"Is she any better" I ask Danielle as I run in
She shakes her head
"I know you don't wanna hear this, but we have a game tomorrow bro, we gotta go sleep", Keaton gives a small smile
"I'll sleep here tonight", I say and take Danielle's spot on the recliner
"Ok bro. I'll bring your clothes tomorrow and you can change in the car"
I nod and they leave
"You need to wake up", I say to her as I approach her in the bleachers
"I cant, I keep trying, but I can't", she says looking at me
"Are you going to die", I ask tears welling up
"I don't know. But you gotta promise me you'll play hard tomorrow"
"I can't without you", I tell her
"You have to try. I can't bear to see you lose time over me", she say putting a hand on my cheek
"I'll try", I say honestly and kiss her honey lips
"Now come on, we have eight hours before you have to wake up", she says after she breaks the kiss and pulls my arm
"What are we doing", I ask her as we get up
"Practicing", she smiled
"Yeah, but you suck", I say smirking
"So what", she smiled and grabbed a bat from the dug out as I grabbed a ball
"I want no mercy shown, understand", she asked me as she furrowed her eyebrows
"Fine", I say in defeat as she grinned in victory
And that's what we did, we played baseball, ran around, played tag, made out, and then we went to the swings
"Kick some ass for me", she said as she grabbed my hand
"I already did", I smirked
"What did you do"
"I kicked Gabriel's ass", I smiled
"YOU WHAT", she laughed
"You heard me", I smiled as she laughed
"Thanks", she smiled
"I love you", I said
"Wake up bro, we have a game to get to", Keaton says jolting me away
"Dude, middle of dream", I said as he threw my uniform at me
"Sorry, go change", he said pointing to the bathroom
I changed and came back out
"Danielle's going to stay here just in case", Keaton says as Danielle came in
"Ok"
"Go get a kiss for good luck", Danielle smiled
I went over to my Ella and pecked her lips
"Please tell me you had that dream too", I whisper to her
"Lets go", Keaton said and I nodded as I put my hat on
