Chapter 11 - Declaration

That night we both of embrace each other and letting out all those feeling. Wait, how did we turn into this? What kind of mess did we get into? I broke the hug and stare deeply into his eyes, searching for an answer.

"Jungkook, what happen to us next?

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean, us, now?"

"Stupid, we fall love. That's why we act like this."

"Love? Isn't it too fast?"

"What, you don't love me?"

"I mean I like you, but I don't sure enough I love you... yet.."

Jungkook silenced himself. Did I say something stupid? I mean yes I like him, I enjoy his company but I didn't know if this is love yet. I don't know about my own feelings. Love seems a big responsibility. Suddenly he cupped my face and softly caress my cheeks. His hand is so warm, making my face all red.

"I know that it is so sudden for you, but give me some chance to prove to you that it is indeed love we are experiencing."

He looks so determined and I can't help but nodded to his request. Maybe I should try to know my own feelings. Jungkook smiled prior to my agreement. He placed his forehead on mine and his breath hit me right on the face.

"Thank you so much, I won't disappoint you and I promise you this will be the best thing ever happen to you."

He slowly reached to my ears and start mumbling three words that spends shiver to my spine.

"I love you."

Jungkook pecks my lips and say goodbye. I still dumfounded about what really happen and trying to assemble things that happen. He walked towards his bedrooms but stopped when he reaches the doors.

"I'm sending your to works tomorrow, babe."

He sends flying kisses that cause me to giggle. I never know he had this romantic side of him. Usually, only Jin will do this stuff, you know him.

Jungkook P.O.V

Last night was the best night ever. I never have a really peaceful sleep ever. I woke earlier to prepare a surprise breakfast for her. She always made something for me, so I'm going to the same today, but what should I cook? How about some omelet? Will it be good? Let's try.

I took out few eggs and crack it in a bowl. I try not to be reckless, but I drop the eggs on the floor. Clumsy Jeon! I try break another egg and its finally working well. I heat up the pan, and pour the batter afterwards. I'm trying hard not to burn the food and flipping the pan around until I was startled with Alex's voice.

"What are you doing, Jungkook?"

"Geez, you wake up already, babe? I'm going to surprise you with the breakfast. You just ruin my plan."
I pinch her nose slightly.

"Ouch, it's not my fault. You're making too much noises, I just can't ignore. What are you cooking?"

"An omelet for my lovely lady."

I'm trying to get a kiss from her, but she slightly pushes me away.

"Nope, young men. I smelled so bad since I just woke up."

I keep trying to kiss her playfully until she yells out loud.

"Yah, the egg is burning."

Alex gesture me towards the pan and holy moly, the egg was completely burned. I tried to save the egg but no use. She laughs looking at clumsy me saving the egg.

"That's why you shouldn't cook, young boys."

"It's all your fault. You shouldn't wake up earlier, distract me with your beautiful face and making the food burnt."

"Am I that pretty, thus you burnt the egg?"

Alex crossed her hand and playfully boosting herself. She just woke up but everything about her was breathtaking. No words to describe her beauty.

"Yes, you are. Can I get my morning kiss now?"

Alex pinched me slightly and walked away towards her room. Man, I never taught I'll be making lovely jokes with her. Back then, we just strangers, but now we might turn into lovers. No worries, I'm going to make her mine in no time.

After she finished shower, she sets up a nice breakfast as I completely give up. We talked, laughed and relied on each other more now. After that, we head to Alex café afterward linking our hands together. I don't have any classes today, so I decide to drop Alex to her works and watched her for a while. I couldn't take my eyes of her. My eyes were rigid on her and finds she's beautiful no matter what she's been doing.

She must notice that I keep staring at her, that she never took her smile off. Everything seems perfect, until she had this discomfort on her face. She was exchanging a look with a man. The man looks familiar, well maybe it's, Jaehee? Yeah, its that jerk, Jaehee. She excuses herself and walk towards outside of the café. She gives me assuring look that everything is fine.

Jaehee P.O.V

"I'm sorry that its maybe too sudden and I might startle you, but I need to have a talk with you."

"No, it's okay. I also need to talk you about something."

She was trying to explain what happen between her and that little beans.

"You don't know to explain that. I'm already understand everything when you're not blood relate."

I knew Jungkook was watching us from the café. I can sense the laser shoots from his eyes. I grabbed Alex's hand, making Jungkook startled from his seat.

"Whatever happen, I still like you a lot. I knew you had a crush on me before but now you might be swayed by him, thus I will not give up either. I'm gonna make you mine."

Now, I'm going to be the one who will shake up both of you. I hate to lose, especially the one that I've set my eyes on. I take a look at Jungkook and he's boiling up. I never lose before, and I'll make sure I never lose this either.

p/s: I'm sorry for the long wait. I've been through emotional things lately that i felt discouraged to continue the story. I'm trying to get my pace back slowly. Hope for a better result in 2018. Happy new year.
