After reporting to the Hokage, I found her at the lake; she was sitting on the shore with her feet in the water, deep in thought.
"Are you alright, Whisper?" I questioned, waling over to stand near her.
"...Yeah... I'm fine..." she mumbled, drawing a pattern into the sand.
"...Are you sure?" I repeated, giving a friendly close-eyed smile.
"Positive... What do we do now?"
"Well, we have some D-ranks to do..."
"Okie dokie... Lead the way," she sighed, getting up and brushing off her pants.
