I helped the others with the mess. We picked up the weapons that were on the floor, fixed the broken windows, filled the cracks and holes in the wall, cut down any vines or plants (caused by the Earth elements), mopped up the flooded halls (caused by the Water elements), and put out the fires.
The entire time while we were cleaning, I couldn't stop looking at that girl, what was her name again? Oh, her name was Wendy. I didn't really get a good look at her but, she was pretty too with long jet black hair, slightly fair skin. She was sitting in the corner by herself with her knees pressed up against her chest. There was three boys all with jet black hair, stormy gray and hazel eyes, and British accents that will make any girl in the ten mile radius of them go crazy, has their arms around her.
"He's trying to get into your head, Winnie." The other boy said.
I went back to mopping the floor. I leaned over and tapped Travis's shoulder.
"What?" He asked.
"Who are they?" I asked pointing at the direction of the dark haired boys talking to Wendy.
"Oh, you mean Peter, Dallas, and Levi Moore?"
I nodded.
Travis gave me a smug smile.
"Why do you care?" Travis asked all smug.
I blushed.
"No reason."
Okay I lied. I wanted to know if one of those boys were her boyfriend or something.
"If you're dying to know, those are her brothers. Peter's the Wind Covens leader." Travis explained.
"Oh."
It took us hours but, we finally finished mopping the floors. I still had the bleach smell in my nose. Travis and I headed towards the dining hall. I didn't really felt like eating so, I told him to go ahead and I will wait for him in the Firma Gardens.
I started to think about what Angus said. Who was Hestia? I know I was adopted. Could she my birth mother?
"Whatca ya thinking about?" A familiar girly voice asked.
I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Terra standing right in front of me. Her honeysuckle smell has gotten stronger. She was holding a plastic container full of salad.
"Nothing." I sighed. I looked at her container full of salad and scowled.
"Are you eating salad?" I asked.
Terra flashed me a bright smile.
"Why yes, I'm vegetarian." Terra said as she took a seat next to me. The two of us talked, waiting until Travis arrived.
"When did she get here?" Travis asked as he looked at Terra and smiled at her.
"Earlier."
The three of us just sat there and talked through out the entire lunch period, until it was time for the Fire and Wind elements to train. I asked Terra is she wanted to go but, she turned us down because she had a lot of homework to do. Travis and I waved said our goodbyes and we walked towards the Training room.
Inside the training room, there was the same skyscraper like wooden polls from the Wind Section, a punching bag, and a wrestling mat. On the walls there were various types of weapons; swords, throwing knives, daggers, knives, bows and arrows, spears, and a two sets of Chinese nunchucks.
There was another room inside the Training room with see through glass. Inside that room, there was two boys fighting with fire, literally. Travis put his hand on my shoulder.
"Pretty cool, huh?" He asked with a smile.
"Yeah, it is."
"You see that room over there?" He asked as he pointed at the two boys fighting. I nodded.
"That room is fire, water, wind, earth, ice, and storm proof."
Okay, I'm officially starting to like Safe Haven. No, not like love.
"This. Is. So. Cool." I said in awe.
"Go at it, I'm going to practice my techniques. Call if you need anything." Travis smiled.
I walked around the training room and I watched the other kids train and fight. I was fascinated by the way they move, especially the wind elements. The wind elements looks so graceful up in the air. Almost like dancing. After I stopped observing the other kids, I went to the sword rack and grabbed a stainless steel eleven inch sword. There was rust around the blade. It felt super heavy in my hand, almost making me drop it.
"Damn, you must be pretty weak if you don't know how to pick up a stainless steel sword. I never seen someone drop a sword that's so easy to pick up." Said a girlish voice. The voice a had small accent to it. English maybe. I dragged the sword's blade as I turned around to look at the person who instulted me.
The girl that happens to insult me, was Wendy Moore. She was pretty up close. Her long straight jet black hair was pinned into a pony tail. She has the most stormest eyes I ever seen, almost intimidating. Her skin was sightly pale, and under her large eyes there were black wrinkles.
"I'm kind of new at this." I explained.
Wendy rolled her eyes.
"So you're the famous Liam Hoú?" She asked, sounding as if I was a burden to her.
"Yes."
Wendy rolled her eyes some more.
"Get up." She demanded as she stuck out her hand. I took her hand and she pulled me back up to my feet.
She took the sword out of my hand and gave me a twelve inch bronze dagger. I looked down and sightly scowled.
"What's this for?" I asked.
"It's for beginners. You use this, and then you work your way up to a sword." Wendy explained.
"Oh."
With that Wendy walked away and she took my training sword with her.
After I was done training, I walked back towards the fire section. On my way there, I bumped into Titus. Titus gave me a nice warm smile.
"Hello, Titus." I said with a smile.
"Hello Liam. I came here to ask you something."
I gave Titus a concerned look.
"What is it?" I asked.
"How would you like to go to a Coven Leader meeting?"
