Real life
Foster care was a really shitty thing. You hear about all these kids being adopted and finding a loving and comforting family, but truth is it's not always like that. I was placed with a foster family but that is until someone wanted to adopt me. But the older I get, the less hope I have. The supervisor has told me that there was someone interested in fostering me but she has also told me that for the past ten thousand times and every time, something comes up. She said that this guy and his sister were seriously looking for a child but that they live all the way in LA. Sounds like something from Anne with an e. Personally, I wouldn't mind moving out there, but my best friend Jesse, who has been in the system with me since I can remember would be hard to leave behind. We always tell each other that no matter what happens we would always stay in contact, and that we would be happy if one of us do get adopted because that's really all we want. But, it is hard saying bye. Especially to someone that I would consider family.
I get a call and it says it's from Jaeden.
"Hola lieberher," I said, masking my sadness with a fun and bubbly voice.
"Hey Peters, whatcha doing," he asked.
"Nothing. I'm actually just walking back from school." I said.
"Well, since we're talking again, I just wanted to update you on something that's very top secret."
"Oh my gosh what is it?" I excitedly question.
"You have to promise to not tell anyone. Like swear on your mother," he said.
Ouch. That one kinda hurt but he didn't know. No one really knows. "I swear," I say.
"We started filming It 2. It's only a couple scenes that were in but still, that's exciting. And it isn't confirmed so you really can't tell anyone." He says, sounding really excited.
"Yeah yeah. I promise I won't. That's really cool though, I wish I could be on a set."
"Well, maybe if you visit me, I can bring you on set."
