Yoongi's POV
I watched her scan all of us and...wait, did her eyes linger on me? Probably, your hair was pretty much an attention beacon. I didn't pay attention as RM introduced us. I snapped back to reality when I heard her speak.
"I-I'm Y/n.," she whispered. she sounded afraid like she was used to this going another way. "what do you want with me?"
I watched her fiddle with her book. I understood and I noticed that RM did to all it took was a look from her. RM started to reply but of course, was interrupted By tae. I rolled my eyes and was flicked in the back of the head by Jin. aish...this hyung. I turned down my music in my earbuds and listened to what tae was saying. He had grabbed her hands and you could tell she was uncomfortable and wanted to pull away. She didn't. I watched her eyes flicker around the room scared about something but something sparked when Taehyung ask if she wanted to be friends. She hesitated for a second before nodding. I felt the tension ease at the table and the boys were jumping around and high fiving. I didn't see a single frown, I have to admit she seemed cold but maybe we could warm her up a bit. I looked over at her and saw a small smile had crept onto her lips. Her checks slightly flushed.
"Thank you" she whispered. She turned to me and smiled her eyes danced.
Even though I was shocked I was able to keep a calm expression
"No need we are happy to take on another friend." She nodded. Jin came over and sat on her right.
"where's your food," he demanded. I rolled my eyes which earned me another flick to the head.
"w-what d-do you mean..uh..." she stuttered and trailed off.
"Jin. Call me jin and where is your food aren't you going to eat?" after seeing her reaction he became softer. He lifted her head and made her look at him. Her eyes flickered around everywhere but his eyes.
"I'm not hungry," she stated plainly. aish this kid. this time I spoke up.
"we never see you eat, so come on have mine." She shook her head
"No I can't that s yours I wouldn't want to-" she was interrupted by Jimin. He and the rest of the boys by this time had settled back down and were watching with interest and worry.
"No, i won't take no for an answer. you must eat something. Is this about your weight?"
She quickly looked away and stood up. she had started shaking. she wouldn't look at us and her hair covered her face. Her words came out rushed and it sounded like she was holding back tears. she pulled down her sleeves even more and gathered her things.
"thank you for your kindness and friendship, but I don't want to burden you. I'm sorry but I must leave now." She bowed quickly and ran out. we looked at each other in shock and worry. We had only just met her but we knew something serious was going on. none of us chased after her. what happened, I looked at jimin he had gone pale. I went over and sat next to him. he leaned his head on my shoulder and I let him, which for me is unusual.
"I just wanted to help..." he trailed off. I put my music back in and became lost in my own thoughts as I watched RM and the rest of the boys discuss what to do next.
