*A/N meet her*
She awoke suddenly, gasping. Eyes shooting open only for them to snap them shut again blinding white lights stinging her eyes. Instead, relying on her other senses. Taking in a shallow breath - stale air wafting into her nostrils. she slipped her tongue out of her mouth slightly attempting to lubricate her chapped lips.
Slowly she became aware of a strange stinging sensation in both her arms before she registered something cool touching just above her upper lip. She attempted to open her eyes again - blinking rapidly as she slowly adjusted them the bright white lights relentlessly streaming down on her.
She looked down at her feet covered by a stark white sheet before her ears tuned into a steady beeping, she turned her head to the left a nurse standing ajar from her looking at a machine - unaware of the pair of curious eyes peering at her. Her eyes traced the tubes from the various machines back to herself slowly piecing together the puzzle.
her mouth opened of its own accord a raspy voice that sounded nothing like hers sounded - similar to the groan of an injured animal. catching the nurses awareness; who looked down at her gentleness in her eyes.
The nurse fiddle with a few buttons before turning to face the girl - she brought her hand to the railing of the bed - the top half of the bed lifting up slightly so that the girl was at an obtuse angle, bent slightly at the hips. Suddenly she had a glass of water at the girl's disposal - she moved it towards her so that it was just under the girl's lips.
The girl leaned forward, capturing the straw that was floating in the glass of water with her lips and taking a few small sips. Before looking up to what she assumed was her nurse.
Suddenly the nurse melted away striking fear into the girl laying helplessly in the hospital bed.
A voice in the distance whirled around the girls head seeming coaxing her towards the said voice, 'Ariadne' a calm voice sounded again.
