*A/N so I've decided to start writing this again I honestly don't know where I'm going with this story yet so - buckle up and get ready? I guess.*

Where it all began

So let me paint a picture for you, a girl shes 16 what a fine young age. She's pretty, kind part of a 'loving' family. Everythings' perfect, but nothing is ever as it seems.
She wakes up each and every morning, routinely getting ready for just another day at school. She rids herself in her pyjamas, walking to the mirror looking down at her stomach - waist, and legs, why? To inspect the fist-shaped bruises - shes aching all over from the night before when her Dad came home drunk and lost it with her Mother, she hated seeing her mother hurt. So she had attempted to calm her irate father down but was no match for her fathers' drunken rage.

This wasn't a rare occurrence, in fact, it happened at least once a week.

It was an average evening the young woman and her mother sat on the couch eating dinner dreading her fathers return from work. He walked through the door, both women flinching as he slammed the door, the harsh sound a stark contrast to the suspenseful silence the pair had previously been entrapped in. Already drunk the stench of alcohol intoxicating the room - following him around.

"What are you two looking at, stop it" he frowned down at the women.
"How was your day?", "honey?" Her mother asked trying not to look at him in the eyes.

He didn't like this - regret flashing across the older woman's face, quickly being replaced by the outline of a grimace. The man took hold of her forearm pulling her disturbingly close to him; his whiskey rich breath trickling across her face - suffocating her. The sudden movement causing the plate she had been gripping to fall. Exploding when it came in contact with the tiled floor. Shards of the plate and tile spraying every which way, launching themselves into the girls' legs, her face frozen.  The intensity of the situation weighing her down and delaying her bodies reactions. She didn't register the pain - crimson streams soon sliding down her porcelain-like skin.

staining her.

The anger in her Fathers' eyes intensified - burning like wildfires. His grip on his wife's arm tightening to the point where his knuckles turned white. His body shaking from the rage coursing through his body.

She could hear her blood gushing around her body, beating against her eardrums so intensely it made her queasy - although that could also be attributed her current situation.

Her Father pulled harshly on her Mothers' arm forcing her to the floor before kicking her repeatedly in the ribs. It was then her body suddenly lurched forward grabbing the collar of her fathers flannel ripping him backwards - and away from her Mother's body pale and lifeless on the floor her face bloody -  arm bruising already from the severity of her fathers attack.

Her Father grabbed her arm as he fell - maneuvering her so she was beneath him. Roughly pushing her down her head colliding with the tiled flooring. A burning pain searing through the back of her skull. she felt her eyes begin to droop - her surroundings blurring together; she barely registered her Father's closed fist clenching tightly around her throat, limiting her oxygen intake - black spots littering her vision, her face stinging almost like there were wasps beneath her skin.

Eyes watering pathetically.

Just as her body was about to submit to oxygen deprivation and shut down - her fathers iron grip loosened as his body was ripped away. The girl gasped loudly - choking on her breath, her dizzyness increasing drastically as her body went into shock.  her body relaxed despite her valiant protests as she succumbed to unconsciousness - alone and damaged.
