Bowling

The next day at school Keith decided to tape the note to Natalie's locker.

He could always walk up to natalie and hand the note to her, but he wants to be discreet about pushing her to go bowling. Then at the end of chemistry while natalie was doing notes keith grabbed her notebook and wrote "cmon your my lab partner. Its not a date. Dont be a chicken." Then he slipped her notebook back into her bag and smiled to himself.

Now that his urging was all done all he had to do was to wait for her after school..

After school that day Keith sat in his truck and waited for Natalie and her friends and Raff as they laid in a circle in one of the grassy areas outside . Natalie looked up suddenly and saw Keith sitting there in his truck. So Keith held out a paper that said "5 p.m." She probably seen it because she look up at Raff and Keith could see her lips moving. Confident that Natalie was telling Raff some made up story about why she had to postpone her date with him today to another time. Keith backed out of the parking lot and drove away.

Keith was right because an hour and a half later Natalie was sitting in the passenger seat of his truck as they drove down the long road.

"Do you really want to base a relationship with a guy like Raff on lies and deceit?" He asked as he drove.

"Just tell him the truth, Your spending a few hours with your lab partner."

"What i do with Raff is none of your buisiness" natalie said smartly.

"My point exactly." Keith said.

"I thought we were going bowling." Natalie said as Keith turned into a thrift stores parking lot.

"We're saving that." He said cheerfully.

When they went inside the thrift store Keith strolled over confidently to three bowling balls.

Keith squatted down to examine them. "You know, they do have balls at the bowling alley."

"Not like these babies." Said Keith with a boyish grin. He rolled the balls over to read the names engraved in them . "Cosmo!" He read aloud. "Patsy!" He said to the dark green ball. Then he struck gold "a walt ball" he said looking up at natalie. "But we only need two." Natalie said confused.

"If we were just bowling," Keith said mysteriously

After buying the three balls along with one named Rio he loaded them all into his truck and drove all the way to his garage he couldn't take Natalie bowling without doing a little maintenance to his truck. Once his fender was worked on Keith laid underneath his truck and reacted it and fine tuned things with a few spare parts.

While Keith worked on his truck natalie asked about his truck and his relationship with his dad and about how close they were Keith didn't answer at first he did not like to talk about personal stuff but he ended up responding with "He was alive before the days of electrical ignition, i need him."

Unfortunately fixing up his truck had used up the rest of the remaining time with Natalie so he ended up having to take her right back home so she could catch her date with Raff,. He wasn't fazed by it it just meant he had to be a rebel and stay up late.

As he drove down Natalie's street a sports car was driving towards them and Natalie immediately crouched down so she couldn't be seen by the driver who was most likely Raff.

"Go around the corner!" Natalie hissed.

"Ha!" He laughed. "He's prompt! I like that in a man!" Keith joked.

"Shut up! Just drive." Natalie snapped smacking his leg.

Ignoring her request Keith slowed down and stopped under a street light this forced Natalie to sit up she began fixing her hair and looking at herself in the mirror. Keith wondered if Raff knew how lucky he was to have her as his girlfriend.

Then Natalie stopped admiring herself and looked at Keith. Keith remarked, "Sneak down the black alley to your boyfriend....sexy."

Natalie said nothing opening the door to the car then Keith said quickly, "Ill pick you up at four!" She turned around and gave him a strange look. "A.m." He clarified.

"What are we going to do at four a.m?"

"Its not a date." He assured her in a whispery voice.

With that she got out of his truck and walked around to her house.

"Ill be right here!" He yelled to her. "This will be our secret spot!" Certain that she heard him he drove back to his house to catch some shut-eye.

Because when the clock struck four a.m, the fun began.
