We made it to the park and I sat down on the bench. I look at the children running around and playing. It warmed my heart. It's almost like yesterday I was doing what they were doing.

"Ever wanted to be little again?" Darcy asks sitting down next to me.

I gave him a weak smile and nod slowly. "Yeah, I miss the past. I miss being a little kid." I answered and leaned back. Darcy kept looking at the children who were running around and playing with other children.

"I miss being a child too. You get to have fun and not worry about any problems. Not even knowing nothing just you and your imagination."

I looked at Darcy who was still staring at the kids smiling softly. It made me smile, but what he said got me thinking. When you were a kid you didn't have any problems following you. You had no clue what was happening in the world and you didn't care. It was just you, your friends, family, and your imagination. When you were a kid you didn't have to worry about the future or school. You didn't have to worry about anything. No depression, no anxiety, no sadness, no anger, no nothing...just happiness.

"Do you plan on having kids?" He momentarily says.

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. A smile stretched across my lips. "Yeah, I mean, I want kids. But I don't know if I actually want them." I said furrowing my eyebrows.

He shook his head and chuckled. "So, is it a yes or no?"

"No," I said but then trailed off. "....Yes."

Darcy lets out a laugh. "Well, you can always adopt remember."

I nod, "Oh yeah, I can." I clasped my hands together. "Why are we even talking about this?" I laughed a bit. Darcy shrugged his shoulders.

"You mean a lot to me." He said way out of topic but the redness coated my cheeks.

"You mean a lot to me too and I know we've only just kind of met but I feel like we've known each other for a pretty long time," I said grinning to myself.

"Same, but I guess we can go out somewhere to eat and we can learn more about each other," He said smiling wide like a kid who got the candy he always wanted.

I smiled softly at him. "Yeah, I would love that."

We both look at each other with wide smiles stretching across our lips. The little kids running around were now laughing. It made me laugh and smile as well. I think laughing is contagious just like yawning and smiling. Well, smiling is kind of contagious.

"So, when should we plan this?" He soon asks me. I look at him think for a second. I can do tomorrow after work.

"I think we can go out tomorrow?" I said.

He thinks and then nods. "Okay, tomorrow it is then." He smiles, "What time do I pick you up?"

"At 8:00," I said smiling softly. I hope Ashton will let me go. I mean this date is just as friends.
