I walked to the park and saw Zachery running towards the playground. I watched in amusment as Zachery goes down the slide and starts playing.

"You're such a kid!" I shouted playfully at him and he laughs.

"Honey boo boo, I know I am." He pretends to flip his hair as if he had long hair like a girl but he doesn't.

"Well, is Kelly coming yet?" I asked him and sat down on the bench that was facing the playground. Zachery stuck his hand in his pocket and took out his phone. He turned it on and started typing away.

"Yeah, she said she's coming in a second." Zachery slides his phone back im his pocket and slides off the slide again. He walks towards me and sits next to me on the bench.

There was a long pause.

"If you love someone..." I said trailing off and looking at the ground, "Do you really have to let them go?"

"No," Zachery replies. "If you love them enough then you should hold on to them forever."

I nodded and didn't say anything.

Silence.

The wind whistles and the sun shines. The birds chirp.

These moments are beautiful. Just hearing nature and closing your eyes as the wind goes in your face and through your hair.

It's really peaceful.

I wish everything was filled with peace.

"Hey, bitches!" A familiar voice cuts my thoughts. My eyes look up and I see Kelly walking towards us. Zachery jumps off the bench so happily and runs at Kelly.

"Finally you came!" He yells excitingly. He pulls her in for a hug and she hugs him but then hits his shoulder playfully. Kelly pulls away and hits Zachery again.

Zachery hisses in pain and rolled his eyes.

"You guys should be proud that I came," Kelly smirks and walks to the bench that I'm sitting at. She sits down next to me while sighing.

"Fucked up day?" She asks me and crosses her arms over her chest.

I chuckle and shook my head with a small smile dancing on my lips. "I guess you can say that."

"Ashton?"

My eyes travel to her's. They were brown and they had worried about them.

"Yeah," I mumbled and shook my head.

"Zara...I know you. You're stronger than this. You're stronger than anyone I know." Kelly smiles sincerely at me making me smile at her. She pulls me in for a hug and I embrace it.

I don't like it when people see me weak. I don't like being weak but I feel weak.

"Don't let it get to you!" A voice in my head tells me.

"It won't. Zara is a badass she can take care of herself. She knows what she's doing," Another voice says.

I smirked to myself. I do know what I'm doing and I know that I will stay strong.
