It was night time, and I was on the back porch, looking at the stars. Do you ever wonder what's out in space? Other than the obvious, like stars, asteroids, planets, and the sun. But, if there's like.....life, other than us. Sorry, Im getting all science-y on ya.

The sliding door, behind me opened. And, I turned around to see Dylan. His sandy blonde hair, was extremely messy, but it looked good on him. His green eyes connected with mine, as he stood next to me. My heart started to race, but I ignored it, and tried to act cool and casual, like his mere presence didn't make my heart wanna burst. He smiled at me. You know, the smile that looked genuine and showed his perfectly bright teeth.

"Hey Christie, whatcha doing out here? Why aren't you inside with everyone, celebrating your team victory?" He asked, and I shrugged, and looked up at the sky. Dylan waited patiently as I continued to look up. Finally, I sighed and turned towards Dylan, who was looking at me expectantly,

"I just wanted some fresh air. Now, Im looking at the stars.....thinking about life." I said, and Dylan nodded, as he looked at me,

"Life? What about life?" He asked, and I looked up at the sky again,

"About, the future. Where Im going be. Who Im going to be with. If Im going to have a career in soccer, or something boring." I said, and Dylan nodded in understanding. He's actually a great listener, one of the things I liked most about him.

"I know what you mean. I think about the future a lot. I think....am I going to be a football player, or a lawyer like my dad wants me to be." I nodded, and look over at him. Our eyes connected. I blushed and looked down, thinking about the question, that was nagging me this whole time.

"So, how'd it go with the sea lions captain?" I asked. I didn't know her name, nor did I want to. Dylan shrugged, and scratched the back of his neck,

"Not good. It was awkward for me. She just kept talking about herself, and how pretty she was. It was actually funny. Now Im here, single and celebrating." I rolled my eyes at Dylan, and he smirked at me,

"Come on, dance with me." My heart started to bound in my chest, and I looked over at him, to see if he could hear it. He smiled at me, as he took my hand, making a shiver travel down my spin. He led us inside, and everyone smiled at me. Ronnie smirked at me, as usual. Dylan turned towards me and started to dance.

I danced along. Ronnie walked up to me, and started to yell,

"Its Saturday! Saturday! Gotta get up on Saturday! Come on, Christie! Wake up!......WAKE UP!" Everything went black, and I sat up, making my head collide with something. I opened my eyes, to see Ronnie, rubbing her forehead.

I looked around, to see that I was in my bed. Oh crap, it was all just a dream. A dream, that I really wanted to come true. Ronnie glared at me,

"No thank you, for waking you up? No, sorry, for bumping your head into mine? Wow, you're an awesome friend." I rolled my eyes, and laid back down, looking up at the ceiling. Ronnie looked at me expectantly. I looked at Ronnie,

"Sorry, and no thank you. Anyway, what time is it?" I asked, and Ronnie rolled her eyes,

"Its twelve o' clock. Get up, and stop being a lazy gump. Were going somewhere special." I raised my eyebrows at Ronnie, as she flipped her light brown hair. Her hazel eyes, connected with mine, and she shrugged. Is it just me, or did she just say....gump?

"Where is that? Bowling? Skate station? Lazer tag?" I asked, and Ronnie shook her head no. I raised my eyebrow, and she scratched the back of her neck,

"Well, no. Were going to the mall! Isn't that great." I glared at her, and she smiled at me. I hate going to the mall. All you do, is walk around, and make your feet hurt. Did I mention that having a best friend who loves shopping, makes me hate going to the mall even more? Well Ronnie loves to shop, and Im usually dragged with her.

"Why? I hope it's a great reason." I said sitting up, and crossing my arms. Ronnie crossed her arms,

"Don't tell me, you forgot?" I scratched the back of my neck. Forgot what? Im a cheerleader and a soccer player. I forget a lot of things. So, I don't think, whatever she's talking about really makes a difference. I nodded, and she sighed,

"Your mom, is having a party tonight. Not just any party. The party. You know, the one that's super boring, and has all the adults. Yeah, that one." I face palmed myself. Mom has this highly sophisticated party every year. And, mom expects all of us, to be there. It's always boring, and old geezers like to stare at me and Ronnie.

I sighed, "Fine. But, let me have five more minutes of sleep." I said, holding us five fingers, as I laid down and closed my eyes.

"No! Get up now, or you will have a repeat of that november." I quickly sat up and glared at Ronnie, who smirked.

"You wouldn't." I said, with confident, and Ronnie snorted,

"I did it that November, didn't I?" She asked as she stood up and pointed a haunting finger at me.

"Up, Now!" I groaned, as I got up from bed. I slowly walked towards the bathroom yarning the whole way. Ronnie followed and I raised an eyebrow at her,

"Er, Im going to take a shower. Can you not follow me in there?" I asked sarcastically, and she rolled her eyes, as she walked away.

Taking a shower to me, was like a chocoholic having chocolate. I loved taking showers. Im not an overly hygiene nerd, but I love showers. I can just think. Think about anything, only in the shower, it makes me relax.

I turned on the shower, and peeled off my clothes. I locked the bathroom door.....don't want a repeat of last week. I was taking a shower, and Ian walked in. He is SUCH a pervert. He just stood there, as I tried to cover myself. Jerk.

I stepped in the shower, and I instantly became relaxed. All thoughts of moms stupid, sophisticated party, disappeared, replaced by thoughts of Dylan. What? I do think in the shower....mostly about Dylan. But,a thought is a thought....and my thoughts are about Dylan.

I let the water, soak my hair, and I sighed. I scrubbed my body fifty times, and rinsed. I slowly turned off the shower, and got out. When I completely dried myself off, I walked out the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around me, and my hair.

I walked inside my room, and gasped. Dylan and Ronnie were in my room. They weren't doing anything, but I didn't expect anyone in my room. I raised an eyebrow at the two, as Dylan stared at my legs. I blushed, and Ronnie followed Dylans gaze, and smirked at me.

"Errr, can you guys explain why my rooms occupied by two people who are not me?" I asked, and Dylans eyes connected with mine, and Ronnie smirked at me,

"Well, I told Dylan that you and I are going to the mall. And, he said that him and the guys are going to the mall. Isn't that funny? So, we all decided to go together." My heart speed. Yay, going to the mall with my crush, best friend, brother, and his friends.....yay again. Sarcasm.
