I gathered my things and turned back around - Are you sure you don't want to come?

- He is always like that Demi - said Becca - he likes to stay in there

Rose had already gone home at this time so Gabe and Becca invited me to go to a cafe with them

Gabe and Becca looked like they were a couple.. they always teased eachother and were both always next to eachother when they had to sit next to someone.. the three of them were a year younger than us though

We all said goodbye to Nathan who wanted to stay practicing in the room. We walked out but just when we reached the double doors to the outside I noticed I had left my phone back at the room

- Do you want us to wait? - asked Gabe

- No, go ahead, I'll catch you guys up! I have been to that cafe with my parents - I chuckled - See ya in a few

They both nodded and we parted ways.. I made my way towards the basement, walked down the stairs and then looked around for the room again

As I got closer I started hearing someone playing the drums really hard, but really well too

Nathan..

I opened the door a little and peeked seeing how concentrated he was.. I took a step inside and leaned against the wall before closing the door

I heard him beat the drums and crash the cinbals until he finally noticed me

- Demi.. I didn't see you.. - he said putting down the sticks and instantly standing up

- You play the drums! - I exclamated

- No.. I was just messing around.. I don't..

- What more do you play? - I asked him putting my hands on my hips

- Hum.. piano..

I chuckled - And I bet you sing too don't you? - I asked

- Hum.. no..

I looked at him sideways and picked up my phone that was on the table where I had left my things in. I picked up a guitar and gave it to him

- Come on.. sing for me - I smiled

- Demi I don't sing.. - he chuckled

- Like Becca told me, no one is gonna judge.. you'd be surprised what you can discover here - I smiled feeling butterflies start flying in my stomach

He stared at me for a while and then picked up the guitar putting the strap around him

I jumped onto the table and dangled my legs waiting for him to start

- Hum.. what should I play?

I shrugged - Whatever you want..

He nodded and thought for a while. He then looked up at his fingers and took a deep breath

The soung was simple.. but it sounded amazingly beautiful..
