"Stereotypes"
I am a stereotype,
You know me before we meet,
I'm like the rest,
And they are like me,
We are stereotypes,
That's what we seem to be,
Made alike but not really,
We are different,
But we're known to be the same,
Thought of as we're supposed to be,
But who decided the regulations,
Who says that I have to be beautiful,
To cheer on a team,
Who says I am surprisingly smart,
If I like to read,
Who said if I'm an athlete,
I'm a bully and I'm mean,
Who told you,
That that is what you are,
I'll tell you the truth,
You're a stereotype,
So are we all.
