1. The Stanley Hotel- Located in Estes Park, Colorado there is a hotel which is best known for the inspiration of Steven King's book and film "The Shinning". Guests that stay at the hotel are very interested in trying to find the ghost that inspired Steven King.
2. The Boulder Theatre- The ghost that roams this location is named George Paper. He once managed the theatre. He has been known to turn the lights on and off, turn on the bathroom sinks and open bathroom doors.
3. Tarabino Inn- The inn was originally built inn 1907 by the Italian Tarabino brothers. It is said to be haunted by a ghostly lady wearing a gown; most often seen at the bottom of the stairs. You can smell cigar smoke and the sound of footsteps have been reported at this location.
4. The Croke-Patterson Mansion- Now a bed and breakfast this building which was built in 1890 has a strange history. It starts with the original owner of the building, Thomas B. Croke. He entered the mansion only once and refused to step into it again. Whatever he had seen or felt made him sell the place to, Thomas M. Patterson. The building has been a dance studio, a radio station, a boarding house and offices in the past. When the mansion was being renovated into offices, strange things began to happen. Two guard dogs were found dead on the sidewalk after apparently leaping from a third story window. Typewriters and copy machines and phones began working on their own. Witnesses have reported apparitions of Patterson, voices, knocks, baby cries and footsteps.
5. Spruce Lodge- The rooms that are haunted in this lodge are numbers; 1, 6, and 7. The reports of strange things that happen range from a ghost of a little girl who peers out of upstairs windows, doors that open on their own, voices, footsteps, lights that turn off and on and a woman's ghost. Dark apparitions have also been reported.
