Chapter 11

Finally the bell rang to dismiss us from lunch, me and Levy grabbed our stuff and said bye to the girls.

"I swear on my heart that I will not let her ruin you with her shipping!" Levy stated while throwing her hands around.

"It okay MOM, as long as she doesn't go overboard and try to get us together ilr, I'm fine." I said to the crazy petite girl.

We went our separate ways to get our stuff.
As I closed my locker, a girl with short white hair that looked like a little Mira was standing there.

"Hi, you must be Lucy! Im Mira's little sister, Lisanna." The girl said as brightening her face, "I hope to be good friends with you as Mira has talked great things about you!" The girl now known as Lisanna said.

"I have to go now, see you later Lucy!" She yelled as she ran away.

I walked down the hall to be met by Levy.
"Hey Lu~Chan, what's with the weirded out expression?"

"Do you know Lisanna?" I asked my best friend.

"Mira's little sister?" She asks back.

"Yeah, she just came up to me and started talking about how she wants to be my friend." I told the short girl.

"Well, I guess we'll figure out. She is the captain of the cheerleading group and usually doesn't talk to us much." Said Levy. Levy grabbed my arm and pulled my to the classroom, "Just don't worry, we're almost late so pay attention." She said as she dragged me into the classroom.

I sat down in my seat, Natsu wasn't here at the moment so I turned and started talking to my other friends in the class.

"Hi Lucy!" Said a voice behind me. I jumped at the sudden sound.

I turn around, "Hi Natsu." I said and waved at the guy with salmon hair.

"I see you didn't go to your mom last night." He raises an eyebrow at me.

"Ah, yes. She told me that I have to go in this weekend. My studies are more important than her apparently." I said while making a mocking face.

"Well, if you don't go to school, then like what? You get blackmailed to go or your parents go to jail?" Natsu said still raising an eyebrow.

"Well....... yeah but," I started but he interrupted with,

"But what? Do you want your parents to go to jail?" He asked me, almost yelling.

"No, but," I started again. But as again he also interrupted me by yelling,

"BUT WHAT!? DO YOU WANT YOUR PARENTS TO GO TO JAIL! IS THAT IT LUCY, YOU WANT YOU PARENTS TO GO TO JAIL!?"

"If you'd let me finish my sentence, I would tell you." I stated almost angry.

He shut his mouth, then stared at me.

"No, but what if I get sick for a long time and can't go to school? Will they still go to jail for me being sick for a long time?"

"Hmmmmm, I don't know. Are you saying you were planning to be fake sick?" He questioned me further.

"No, I'm just questioning what if I get sick and can't go to school. Like..... if I was to get cancer. But where it's really bad and I can't get out of the hospital bed?" I question him back.

"Then your parents need to drop you out of school." He said, his face lighting up as he thought I wouldn't know how to respond.

"Well, Natsu. What if your parents forgot to drop you out because they were always with you? Trying their best to make sure you don't die. And would school really be on their mind if their child is dying right before them?" I questioned him again.

He have a dumbfounded look. "Hmmmmm, okay fine! You win!" He yelled as he turned around and huffed.

The teacher walked in at that moment looking at the class.

"Today, we will have a group project..." Mr. Happy stated, but was Interrupted by my yelling peers.

"But, you don't get to choose your partner. It will be your desk buddy." He stated while smiling.
Everyone was quite after he said that.

"Your assignment will be to write a summary about chapter 17." He stated while looking around the class.

"You and you partner will have 2 ruff drafts. One for each person. Then you will take stuff from both, and put it into your final draft." He walked to his desk.

"This will be our assignment for the next few days, but I will recommend to do it at home too. If you finish before the day to turn it in comes, you will be able to talk quietly to your partner, or you can just skip this class altogether." He said grabbing some papers and writing on them.

Everyone started talking. I turned to Natsu and we started to work. It was gonna be a 'fun' time working with Natsu. I don't even know if he read chapter 17.

"Soo, Lucy. Whose house are we going to work at? Mine or yours?" He questioned me.

"Won't your family be at your house?" I questioned.

"Well, yeah. But won't your dad be at your house?" He asked me.

"No, he works into like midnight." I told him.

"Then it's settled. I'll go to your house!" He looked excited.

"Sure I guess." I stated looking away for a moment.

"Wait, Lucy. Where do you live?" He questioned.

I got out a paper and wrote down my address.
"There, you should be all good." I handed it to him.

"Wait, could I also get your phone number just Incase I get lost?" He asked.

I sigh. I get out another piece of paper and write my number down. "Ok, here." I said while handing it to him.

He gave a toothy grin. "Thanks Lucy."
