Your POV
I was in a room of pure black. I looked around and then a voice popped into my head.
"Sorry! I think I took too much energy!"
"That's ok M," I said using the nickname I gave her. She then became visual. Malora looks exactly like me but just red everything else.
"No, it's not. I wish I could give you your energy back, but I would just take control again." M said.
"No. No. No. It really is ok. We probably just surprised the guard when we fainted out of nowhere."
"I hope he didn't worry though. We're gonna have to leave soon, N/N. Don't want a hurt anybody now do we?" She said, using the nickname she gave me.
I shook my head. No, we don't. "Let's just hope they don't persist that we stay. I would like to find a thieves guild. I am an assassin princess. So maybe if I find a thieves guild I could put my skills to use."
"I have to go. Your waking up. Just remember. We always have each other ok?"
"Ok. Thanks, M." And with that, I suddenly woke sitting up. I was on the bed in the cell. I KNOW for a fact that I didn't fall onto the bed. So someone came in and put me on the bed. Ok. So now it is really time to leave. They probably saw what I looked like. I grabbed my arms and felt my cloak. Good. So they didn't take it off. I pulled my hood up farther and snapped my fingers. My bag and all of my possessions were back around my shoulder. I just want to find a potion of strength, so I can open the door with force and get out.
I hear footsteps, I stop what I'm doing, and snap my fingers so my bag and all of my possessions go back to my pocket dimension. When my bag was gone they came around the corner. Laurence, Garroth, and Aphmau? Was it? I silently ask my self. I mutter the same voice altering spell under my breath and waited for one of them to talk.
"Oh! You're awake! My name is Aphmau, Lord of Phoenix Drop." She said all too cheery. Hm. Maybe I can earn her trust enough to get out without breaking anything. "What's your name?" She asked after a short pause.
"Hello Lord Aphmau. My name is F/N. It is a pleasure to meet you." I said while bowing a bit. Laurence and Garroth blushed. I'm assuming it's because they saw my cleavage.
"Oh! No need to be so formal. But I do have a question. Why are you wearing a hood?" Lord Aphmau asked.
"Oh! Um..." I don't know how to avoid this one. Just tell her that you heard this region has a lot of thieves! "Um... I heard this region has a lot of thieves! I just wanted to take precautions." Lie.
"So can you take it off so I can see your face?" She asked.
"No. I would rather not." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "At least not with people I don't trust." I mean that's reasonable. I am in a cell.
"Aphmau. May we talk to you for a moment." Garroth asked, with Laurence walking around the corner again.
"Hm? Oh! Sure. I'll be right back." She said with a smile.
Use your teleport magic! Great idea! Thanks, M! No problem.
I snapped my fingers and my bag appeared around my waist. I was looking through it for my mask so I could hide the majority of my face a little better. I had just got my mask out when I heard footsteps coming around the corner. What's more important? Covering my face or putting my bag back in the pocket dimension? Hiding my face. So I continued to put on my mask. They'll ask questions, sure. But I can just lie again, right?
"So sorry I-" She stopped mid-sentence. Probably because I had a bag now. "Where did you get that bag?" She asked.
"See! I told you she had a bag!" Laurence said while pointing his sword at me.
"I- uh..." I had no explanation.
"Whatever. Just tell her your decision." Garroth said while clearing his throat.
"Ah. Yes. I'm letting you out. Then you can stay here, in Phoenix Drop." Oh no. She's the persisting type, isn't she?
"Uh. Thanks, but I'm ok. I'll go find somewhere else to live. I don't want to be a burden." I said while she unlocked the door. I stepped out. My this guard station is smaller than I thought.
"Oh, PLEASE! You wouldn't be a burden. Plus you were right about hearing our region having a lot of thieves. I would like for you to be safe." I would be safe. I have teleport magic. I can get out of every situation.
"I would be a burden. I don't want to take up a house when there is no need for me here." I said while walking out the door. I saw a tattered gate to my right and started to head in that direction. I looked around. Wow! This place has big trees. I came up to a broken bridge and stopped. I could teleport over but- my thought suddenly got cut off.
"Hey wait up. You're going in the wrong direction for the village." Aphmau said while catching up with me. Well, then I can't teleport over.
I turned around and said, "No I am not. Now if you'll excuse me..." I turn to jump over the bridge but she grabbed my arm and held on.
"No, really I insist you stay here. It's not as bad as you think." She said with a pleading look in her eyes.
"No. Aphmau, I can't stay here for long. If Zane finds me I'll be forced to marry him in order to protect my kingdom." I said quickly. Then I stopped and covered my mouth, all most as if I wanted to take back the words I said.
Aphmau had a look of pure shock in her eyes. She held on tighter. "What!?! Zane is looking for you!? You have a kingdom?!" She asked to loudly for comfort. I covered her mouth.
"SHHHHHHHHHH! You heard nothing!" I heard footsteps running in our direction. I looked over Aphmau's shoulder and saw a blue-haired guard running this way.
"Aphmau! I heard you yelling! What's wrong?" He asked panicked. He hadn't even seen me yet. So my secret is safe for a little longer. As Aphmau was talking to the guard, I looked up at the sky. It's not dark yet. So I'm still good. My eyes landed on a tall tree. There was a person standing up there. He had on a black hoodie, and a red mask covering his eyes. He was just staring down at us. So he knows too.
While they were distracted I started to hop on the broken pieces of the bridge. When I got to the other side, I'm assuming Aphmau turned and saw me leaving. "Hey! Where are you going?" She asked. It made me jump, and my hood fell off. I turned without realizing it was off and saw the look of realization hit her face. I felt for my hood and soon realized that it wasn't on. I panicked and started to run towards the gate. I bet I looked like a thief.
Well then. I guess I'll leave it there. I do have more time to post tonight though. So you might find out what happens to you then. Ciao!
