It was late at night and Morgana had not still slept. Her features were quite peculiar. She had gotten her silver blue eyes from her mother, her hair was long and dark brown with one hazel streak. She was a petite figure with rosy cheeks, showing a pop of color from her pale skin. She had gotten most of her beautiful features from her mother.

She sighed and scanned the room with her silver blue eyes. They looked like they were glowing as they reflected the flickering flames of the melting candle.

She was a 10 year old girl who had already witnessed horrors. She would tell her fellow orphans about them but they would just laugh. Occasionally, the nape of her neck where the scar bared would hurt painfully.

She recalled all her stories, convinced by the staff that they were just hallucinations or bad dreams. Morgana sighed once more and closed her eyes, scared she would approach another gory nightmare.

* * *

"WAKE UP EVERYONE!" A lady boomed. Morgana was the first to get on her feet. "We're going to have visitors so look your best!" She then frowned after seeing the dirty clothes the children were wearing. "J-just.. straighten up!"

A couple of minutes later, a couple and 3 kids walked in the orphanage. "Welcome to our humble home! So what brings you here?" She asked.

"Well, Lily here was feeling quite down everyday since she's the only girl and—"

"And I didn't want her to feel that way! I was the only girl in the group of red headed boys."

"And after a month and a half, we decided to adopt a girl."

"Great! Look around!" The old lady said cheerily and led them to the bedroom where the children were getting ready.

"AHHHHH!"

Harry Potter and the old lady dashed to the bedroom to find a snake in Morgana's hand and a traumatized lady lying on the floor.

"What did I tell you about leading snakes in here?" The old lady scolded.

Harry stopped. "You're a Parseltongue.." He said quietly. "A what?" The lady asked. "N-nothing." He looked over to Ginny who wore the same worried expression.

"Say, how did you get that in here?" He asked.
"I called it to me. Said that another boy had talked to him in a cave." Morgana said.

"Lies! I said you'd never ever say such nonsense!" The old lady scolded again. She hit the back of her neck instead of her head and Morgana shrieked in pain.

"I'm telling you there is nothing wrong with your scar."

"It burns all the time!"
"A scar? Burns? Where?" Harry asked.

"This stubborn brat has a star shaped scar on her neck and says it always burns." The old lady grunted.

"We're quite interested in her." Ginny said. "She's a Parseltongue Harry! A Parseltongue just like you!" She whispered.

"Umm.. I'll get the files." The old lady hurried off to her office.

She came back with a folder containing one page inside. The old lady takes the paper and reads it.

"Her name is Morgana Gaunt. She said so herself. She is 10 years old. Silver blue eyes, dark brown hair with a hazel streak, she's four seven, and... she's been getting nightmares of a creepy bald man that looks like a snake, and also thinks she can communicate with snakes." She finished quickly. "Now, adopting a child like her is very complicated. She gets nightmares and will lure in snakes. She pretends to make hissing sounds most of the time. Quite an unusual child..."

Harry, Ginny, and the children sighed. They looked at each other, both nodding their heads."We'll take her! She's the same age as our son here Albus."

"And next year, they'll be able to to go to Hogwarts!" Lily blurted out.

"Hogwarts? Is that a place? That's disgusting.." the old lady said.

"We'll sign the papers." Harry said. Ginny excitedly took Morgana by the hand. "You're coming home with us!"

"Not so fast!" The old lady chastised as she took Morgana by the other hand and led her in the bedroom. "I'd like you to think about it for one more day and come back the day before that." She said calmly.

"When's her birthday?" James asked. "I don't know. She knows herself but you'll never get it out of her. I wonder why.." the lady said.

The Potter family nodded and walked out of the orphanage.

"So Harry, why did you pick this orphanage?" Ginny asked. "It uh.. just seemed lucky.." he answered. "I don't honestly think it's lucky..." Albus said profoundly.

* * *

"Time to sleep!" The old lady whispered to the orphans talking past lights off.

Morgana had an uneasy feeling in her stomach.
She was getting a family. A mother, father and siblings. She thought she would live inside the walls of the isolating orphanage she had called home. But no. She was going to live somewhere else and be given another chance to finally restart her life with a new family.

* * *

"Morgana, wake up!" The old lady whispered to Morgana while she shook her. "Hm?" She groaned as she got on her feet. "Your new parents decided to pick you up in the middle of the night.. which is not really a day but.. Anyway, their here. I'll walk you out the door.

As the old lady guided her through the dark, she spoke in a very tiny whisper and sniffled. "Not many orphans her at Wool's Orphanage find a home. It's either because too many people are selfish these days to show empathy to a parentless child or that they think this place gives a sense of eeriness to it making it quite creepy... Ah! Here we are. The front door! Now Morgana, listen to me right now okay?," she took her hands in hers. "I want you to be the best child there is for your new family. Be glad you don't get to spend your whole life in this run-down looking orphanage. You've been a toughie to manage just like this ol' kid I took care of named Tom Riddle. Same hair as you and had some weird association to snakes as well. But all in all," She took in a deep breath and sniffled once more. "It was glad to have you stay here. I had a great time seeing you grow up. I want you to make what I did worth it. Be a good gir- OH! Sorry Sorry! Be a good girl Morgana Gaunt! Goodbye!" She took a bit too long talking because the Potter family was knocking on the door, eager to finally take in their own sister.

The old lady hastily opened the door, pushed her outside and gave a loud whisper of goodbye.

Morgana looked up to see her parents and smiled. But then wondered for a split-second. Why me? she wondered. She shrugged it off, took each of her new parent's hands, and walked out the orphanage. She looked back at Wool's Orphanage and one tiny tear of happiness went down her pale skinned cheek.

Harry glanced at the little tear and hears a quiet wispy voice. It reminded him of when he was collecting Snape's tears that contained his memories.

He just looked at Ginny and down at his new daughter Morgana. Harry looked up at the grey sky and sighed. This was going to be exciting.

Yes, here she is known as "the old lady" but I couldn't figure out how to introduce her name y'know? Anyway, thanks for choosing to read this book!!! I hope you find it pretty interesting. I might change the cover. Tell me if you'd like to make a cover for me please! I would appreciate it! Thanks
