So, I guess Katie is moving for good. What am I supposed to do without her here with me. Whenever I had a problem, I would go to Katie. She was my wing man except she is a girl and not a dude. We have been through everything together, but what is going to happen to us now. Right then, I saw my whole life flash before my eyes. I also need to think about my mother as well. As I told you before, Katie's Mom is my Mom's best friend. This has to be hurting her as much as it is hurting me. I walked to the family room, looking for my mother. When I looked to the right to where the couch was. I saw my mom holding a big book of some sort. When I looked clisure, it was a memory book of Katie's family and my family together.

"Hey, mom. Is that.." I said very softly almost mumbling my words.

"Yes, it is the memory book of Katie's and our family. When I feel sad, depressed, or have any issue, I will look through this book. That is if Christine (Katie's mother) is not avalible at that moment."

I looked at the pics as my mom flipped through the pages. When she flipped to the seventeenth page, I starred at one specific image. The image was of me and Katie at a swim meet. Katie and I were on a competitive swim team together as well. In the pisc, Katie and I had won our first gold metals. We had done a relay together with two other girls. Katie swam butterfly while I swam freestyle and the other two girls swam the other strokes. We were about seven years old at that swim meet. It had felt like it was only yesterday that we won those gold metals. I still have mine, it is hanging behind my bed on the wall.

"Mom, should I go and talk to Katie. What I did earlier was really selfish and I need to apologize to her." As I was saying that to my mom, the tears began to for on my water line again, but faster.

"Go ahead sweetie. I will be heading down there later, so I will see you later there. Call me if you need me for anything."

The tears started to run away from my eyes. They ran down the sides of my cheeck, racing towards my chin. There was no ending this time. My mom rapped her arms around me again. She knew that this was going to be hard, but we will get through it together. (By the way, if you are wondering where my father is in all of this, he is at work at the moment. He is a state trooper for the local park and he does not come home until seven o' clock) Once I started to settle down again, my mother began to let go of me, allowing me to go to Katie's house. Is Katie going to be mad at me for yelling and running away?
