Now that Vanoss is gone we have to tell Ellie, and she won't take it well at all, wildcat came to me angry yet kind as was the rest of the crew, we all knew who was next in charge......Ellie.
We enter into our Vehicles......well I wasn't in mine, I was in Evan's......."Nightshade, take me home" I say and he started the engine and began driving home, the crew followed behind Nightshade, What am I going to do? What am I going to say? Ellie is waiting at home waiting for Evan only to get stabbed with the worst news of her life, twice she has lost him twice. I'm such an idiot.
"Sir Jonathan we have arrived at the mansion" Nightshade stated drawing me from my thoughts
"Thank you" I said and got out closing the door gently and walk to the front door, every step only caused me more pain as I had to face the music on the other side of that door. My breathing grew heavy as I opened the door with my shaken hand, and just as predicted there she stood, the 16 year old with a wides grin as the crew and I walked in, she eyes everyone until her happy smile dropped noticing Evan's absence. My heart sank.
"W...where's Evan?" She asked the silence of the crew, but not one dared to tell her
"I asked you a question, Where is my Brother?" She repeat more sternly, I felt everyone's eyes look at me and I shivered
"Evan and I fought so he could release me from my insanity, though no one knew the price he has to pay to do it, I grabbed a gun and shot him, but......he didn't make it" I say
Ellie tears up and held her head before falling to her knees and screamed
, a blast of red essence shot out from her body pushing everything and everyone away from her, surprising the crew we all got up and they look at me nodding, I nod in reply knowing what they mean and rush up to Evan's room grabbing a box and returning back to Ellie handing her the box
She looked at me with red eyes and took the box from my hands opening it
"Evan was going to give this to you on your 18th but I think he'd want you to have it now" I say softly
Ellie took it out of the box. It's red leather shining in the light, a brand new jacket exactly like his own jacket, Ellie stood up and put it on and the crew all looked at her including me,
"Let's finish this war" she growled cracking her knuckles
