The school day ended and Alex's mom came and picked her up at the time they agreed on. Alex introduced Briana to her mom and made a really good impression. Alex got home and barley remembered about the detention she's supposed to be at.

      "Oh shit, mom i forgot to tell you I have detention... Right now.", Alex said to her mother.

      "Detention? That's impossible, it's your first day Alex! How on earth did you get into detention on your first day?!", replied Milinda.

      "I kind of told off my teacher in acting class today. Don't ask me what I said either because i'm not proud of what I said, all I know is I have to get to detention and you have to drive me. Like now.", said Alex.

      "We will talk about this later young lady.", said Milinda.

      Alex and her mother drove in silence as they went back to Rosewood High.

Alex's POV

      Damn it, i'm late for detention by 20 minutes! I wonder if i'll get even more detention time. How am I going to explain this to my mom anyway? Ha-ha I don't know what i'm going to say... I wonder what Briana's doing right now. I really wish I had my phone so I can at least text her through-out this thing.

Briana's POV

      Dude, I can't believe i'm lieing to Alex. I can't let her know about my secret, but if I don't tell her I can very well hurt her because if anything were to happen to her, I wouldn't be able to protect her. Look at me ha-ha sitting in this stupid detention with this guy. I thought Alex had detention too, but I guess I was wrong about her. That girl isn't really the good girl I thought she was. If anything, she's actually pretty bad ass.

Alex's POV

      So my mom's going to pick me up in about an hour even though detention ends in 30 minutes. Sometimes she can be pretty mean ha-ha! She's doing this on purpose and I know it. Ugh, almost to this class. What room was it again? Oh yeah, room B227. Here we go I guess, I wonder who's in here. Probably some delinquents who are going to try to kill me and steal my hair.

Briana's POV

      Holy crap she actually came! I would've just ditched ha-ha.

      "Wow, I thought you were gone for the day ha-ha.", said Briana.

      "Oh my gosh Briana why are you here? *Hugs Briana* I didn't know you had detention.", said Alex excitedly.

      "Yeah, apparently some of the teachers saw Jessica and I 'arguing' and punished me.", said Briana.

      "SHH! You guys are in detention, not lunch there is no talking here. Ms. Marie, why are you late? How can you possibly think it's okay for you to  walk in here 23 minutes after I have taken roll?", demanded the principal.

      "Forget Morfet on Principal Mordred.", Alex casts a forgetting spell on the school official yelling at her.

      "Everybody in this class has some sort of magic anyway ha-ha. Don't try to hide it.", Alex told the whole class.

      "Damn, fearless or nah? You are my kind of girl, you know that right?", said Ryan.

      "You, stay away from me Ryan. I don't want you near me and I certainly don't want you talking to me especially here.", Alex spat at the boy in front of her.

      "Well that's too damn bad pretty lady. *Pulls Alex closer to him*", Ryan said.

      "Don't touch m...", Alex was interrupted by a kiss from Ryan.

      Briana's POV

What the hell is going on here?! How can I just let this happen? Why isn't Alex pulling away! I need to stop this like right now. How can I stop this without showing her what I really am... It's a risk i'm willing to take. Alex is powerful and I am not going to let them take her magic! Time to take matters into my own hands. This is a couple I will NOT let happen.

Briana then leaped towards the two kissing people at a speed no human can reach. What the hell is she?
