HONEY
I sped off down the road, my cheeks burning with anger from his cocky attitude, pain from my leg and embarrassment for the fact i fell on my ass in front of the hottest boy i have seen around here yet, had to limp in front of him because i fell on my ass and i allowed my stubbornness to turn down an offer to catch a ride with him, in his car, which, might i add, is an Audi, all because i fell on my ass.
Okay so it's an A3, not a patch on the A6 but it's still an Audi and still my all time favorite car.
I am mentally unsure of myself sometimes, i swear.
Stupid, stupid boy, and my leg genuinely hurts.
I came up to the round about, allowing the cars to the right of me, to pass over first, like the sensible driver i was. Taking a too risky swerve around the round about, i took my time on the only road i knew which led straight on toward the supermarket.
After searching for about fifteen minutes for a place to park where you didn't have to pay three pounds for three hours, when i was only planning on spending at least an hour here, i halted my engine, took off my helmet and unzipped my jacket pocket.
"Aha!" I pulled out my purse and tried to unzip it with my thick gloves.
Failing, i used my teeth and peered inside, biting off my left glove.
I had three five pound notes and a couple of pound coins. The news satisfied my stomach, which knew money meant food, and considering all Mark and Ste eat is healthy food and i have my own shelf in the fridge and my own cupboard, it was in for a treat.
I bit off my other glove and stuffed them both in my pocket, slid off my Brum and pulled up the seat of my moped. At first, the weight slipped between my fingers and i looked up to see if anyone had noticed the mistake, in doing so, i spotted a familiar red Audi A3.
What an asshole. Surely he didn't follow me here?
The car was parked four rows away from me, and as far as i could see, even though i needed reading glasses, there was nobody seated inside.
Of course, this was because he was standing right behind me.
"Need a hand?" He asked.
I jumped back, into him, dropping my helmet from under my arm onto his toe, dropping my purse and spilling my change all over the floor.
"Dammit," i said, looking at the coins which had rolled under the Blue Citroen CDI parked next to me.
Sorry stomach.
"Well now i 'need a hand' yeah, because you creeped up behind me and caused me to drop all my money and damage your toe, which is quits, by the way, for my leg!" I crouched down, snatching my purse up off the gritty tarmac and fumbled around for all the loose change. Luckily, my notes had stayed within the safe walls of the blue charity shop purse i'd bought when i was ten for fifty pence.
"Wow, yeah, sorry for offering to help you shop, you know, you being little miss limp and all because of me," He sighed and crouched down next to the ugly Citroen, his long arms easily reaching under the car and picking up all the change he could reach.
I looked into his luscious green eyes as he passed me the change, his hair flopping slightly over his right eye.
"Thanks," I said, still looking into his eyes, curiously as i emptied the money into my purse. "Did you follow me here, Hunter?"
He was very defensive in his reply. "Follow you? No, I'm not a creep, i parked up, walked to Tesco with the intention of getting the weekly shop for my mam and saw you parking up, i decided to walk over, considering i injured you, and offer to help you shop, but you throw your bike helmet at my toe in revenge and make me reach under ugly cars to get your change."
