What is that? Zinnia screeched, hurrying toward her newborns crib. Adenium, a beautiful, deadly flower, grew out of the floor boards, dangling down above the infant. Zinnias husband, Cypress, hurried into the room, ready to defend his family. Upon seeing the plant, he wrapped an arm around his wifes waist and pulled her to a gentle stop.

After a minute of study, Cypress let out a sigh of relief. All of these plants are poisonous to eat, not to touch. Well just need to make sure we wash our hands.
Letting out a squeal of delight, Zinnia hurried forward and gathered her precious daughter in her arms. You worried me there for a minute, she told the tiny infant.
What should we call her? Cypress asked as he gathered his wife and cooing daughter close.
Absinthe, because shes our poisonous, little green fairy, Zinnia replied, staring down at their daughter lovingly.
