"You're already dead."

Rachel put a hand over her heart, feeling the heartbeat, "Erm, I'm pretty sure I'm alive. . ."

"Don't step foot on Olympus, mortal, it'll be your greatest mistake. Wars, death, and terror follow in your footsteps." The woman sneered, "Beware the Crooked One's right hand!"

"Wait! Who's-"

"Worst of luck on Olympus, mortal," And with that cheery thought, the woman in the cloak waved her hand and everything went black.

Note to self: Waking up at four in the morning sucks. Chiron had insisted that the visit to Olympus needed to be done early to: 'Be over with soon so that we may continue with war preparations.'

So it was safe to stay that Octavian was in a crappy mood.

Slinging his bag over his shoulder, he slumped out the door.

"Octavian!" Screeched a voice, "Octavian, wait up!"

"What?" Octavian snapped towards the voice, whom he now recognized as Rebecca.

Huffing, she pouted, "That's not a very nice way to talk to me. Apologize."

Suddenly feeling ashamed, Octavian mumbled, "I'm sorry, I'm just not use to getting up so early, forgive me?"

"Sure, silly!" Rebecca giggled, "Okay, now we gotta head to the Big House to wait for her." She said 'her' with a sneer.

"Her? Oh, you mean Rachel Elizabeth Dare?"

"Uh-uh, hate her. I mean, she can't date! How horrible! And, I heard she practically forced Percy Jackson to take her to Camp. Ha! She's just a stupid mortal who was lucky enough to have Apollo bless her!"

Octavian frowned, "What do you mean? Forced him?"

"You haven't heard the stories? Well, Percy Jackson was on a quest in Hoover Dam and he was running from these unbeatable skeletons. He saw Dare and he knew she could see through the Mist, so he told her to run, you know, to get away from the monsters. But she didn't! I heard she hide him from the monsters but then made him swear on the Styx to take her to Camp. Then, right after the Second Titan War, Apollo appeared and made her oracle! Some people say he did it because he owes Percy a favor and decided to make his mortal 'friend' important."

"Huh," Octavian said, after letting the story sink in, "RED doesn't really seem like the sort of person to force people to swear on the Styx just to get to a Camp where she knows she doesn't belong."

"Trust me, sweetie, she is." Rebecca said, giving him a sugary-sweet smile.

Knowing he could trust her, he replied, "Yeah, you're right. We need to be weary of her."

"That's right, sweetie."

Rachel was ticked. They had to leave for Olympus in ten minutes, and neither Octavian or Rebecca were here.

If they came in together Rachel would blow a fuse.

But, because the Fates hate her, they did come together. Walking really close to each other. Smiling.

Rachel twitched.

"Where have you been?" She yelped, "We have to be at Thalia's Tree in," she checked her watch, "Three minutes! What the heck?"

"Calm down," Rebecca snapped, "We'll go now, gods."

"Don't you sass me!"

"I'll-"

"Let's just go, okay?" Octavian cut in.

"Whatever," Rachel huffed, stomping down to the pine tree.

I'm not jealous. I'm not. I'm worried because I know Rebecca is a traitor. Yeah. I'm not jealous. I'm not.

Besides, you can't even date! Rachel told herself, Even more proof that you're not jealous! You can't be!

Reaching Thalia's Tree, she jumped into the drivers seat in the Camp van.

Turning around to face the others, she chirped, "Alright, we have a two hour drive. Not that bad right?"

Seeing both of them already fast asleep and leaning on each other, she exhaled.

This was going to be a long drive.
