GRAYS POV
"Good morning beautiful." I hugged Juvia from behind and kissed her hair.
She giggled a kissed me, my face in her palms, as she was standing over the breakfast she was making.
"Did you sleep well?" She asked and I shook my head. "Not after I found out that somebody slipped from my room during the night." I pouted, pinching her cheek. She laughed. "I'm sorryyyyyy! I couldn't sleep and didn't want to wake you up, so I went and had a tea on the balcony."
"Still have trouble sleeping?" I asked as I sat down on one of the bar chairs we had in kitchen.
Juvia put down a plate of scrambled eggs in front of me and sat down on the chair next to me.
"It's been a few months but it....still hurts sometimes." She admitted not looking at me.
I stopped eating and hugged her around the waist bringing her closer to me.
She yelped as she almost fell down but I held her tightly.
"You don't have to force yourself." I said, as we were kinda busy last night and her back hurt after that.
"I'm not. Really." She smiled.
"But if it hurts....."
"That doesn't mean I'm forcing myself Gray. I love you, and I love that I can show it to you."
I brought myself closer to her, locking my lips on hers.
It's been a few months since the attack, since her dad came, since Juvia told me the truth about her life. After that night, she spent many other nights, telling me about her life since she stopped being Juvia Lockser. Her father made her take fighting classes, cut of her entire connection with her 5 years younger sister Meredy, and kept moving her from town to town, school to school.
She was the bravest girl I ever met.
Juvia gently separated from me and gasped for air.
"I need to breath you know?" She chuckled and I pressed my forehead against hers.
"Don't ya kids have a school to get to?" We heard a voice from the door.
"Oh God, we have only 20 minutes left." Juvia quickly stood up, and left, giving me a peck on forehead and a kiss on Ur's cheek.
I glared at my adoptive mother.
"Stop glaring, start eating. It's the first day of your last year as a high schooler!" She tried to sound exciting but I think my glare made my thoughts pretty visible.
"Yeah yeah I know. I hated school too." Ur chuckled. "Really? Weren't you like a straight A student?" I asked, eating the breakfast Juvia made me.
Ur chuckled again. "That doesn't mean I enjoyed it. And by the way," she turned away from me, washing the dishes from the last dinner. "I don't mind Juvia staying here from time to time, she is a really sweet gurl, and I like her a lot better than Zestia. But, try to keep it at least PG-13 in open areas would ya? I don't want Ultear learning something from ya." Ur has this wierd accent that makes her sound like an old lady, trying to be cool.
"Will do." I said and finished eating my food.
"Gray. If we don't leave, like now, we'll be late." Juvia shouted from the stairs, already dressed in the school uniform.
"Fine Fine." I handed Ur the dishes, ran to my room, dressed and took my stuff, leaving just in time to catch the bus.

JUVIAS POV
"Hey there, second year!" I turned around to be greeted by Erza's face. I haven't talked to her since the accident.
"Hey....." I felt my cheeks burning from embarrassment.
"Come on. Why aren't you answering any of my texts?" She asked me but I couldn't bring myself to look at her.
Under her uniform, she still had the bandages around her collar bone, where she will have a life-long mark from the bullet.
"Juvia. I already told you, that I'm not holding any grudges."
"But...."
"I don't want to hear any buts!" Erza hugged me around my shoulders.
"I'm a tough girl, and it will take a lot more than this to take me out." She smiled on me but I still couldn't look at her.
"Juviaaaaaa. Come on! Look at me, or I'll tickle you!"
I still looked at the wall, but soon I felt how Erza started to tickle me and I couldn't contain my laugh.
"Okay okay. I'm giving up!" I said in between the laughter that was coming out of me.
"See? I'm all better." Erza hugged me again and I smiled at her.
Sure, I was still angry at myself and blaming me for letting them get into such a danger, but I was glad that she didn't have any hard feeling against me.
The bell rang and we went to our respective classes.
"Welcome back to your second year in high school." Professor Makarov stood in front of the class.
"Hey Prof. Aren't you already too old to teach here?" Romeo asked, and made like the whole class laugh.
Professor sigh. "I know, I know. I'll probably teach here until I die." He turned around and began his lecture of the first day.
New semester, new year.
People say that that signalizes the new me, but I know better.
My old me is coming back.
