FLASH BACK .
I looked around and saw three boys behind me . I got bullied a lot because of me living in a shelter . I hated it . Especially because the school I go to is not the most monitored .
"Hey , retard ." A boy slammed his hand hard on the wall where I was stood .
"I-" I was going to protest but a sharp stinging pain in my cheek was what I got in return . I looked into his eyes and I could see no guilt as he slapped and punched me repeatedly .
" Come on we don't have time for a fucking scum bag !" I heard one snigger . I lied spiralled out on the ground unable to move .
This wasn't an occasionally thing , it was daily .
FLASH BACK OVER .
I put my head on the table and ignored the boy . When I looked up I noticed he was smiling. He was tall and slim, not really muscly and he had blonde floppy hair.
"Hey I'm Dan ." He had a smile almost to big for his face .
I obviously looked scared and in shock because he said .
"Oh don't worry , I'm not them ." He pointed to the back of the class where there was a table of popular boys who looked menacing .
"Oh I'm Brad by the way sorry ." I half smiled .
"Okay Brad , can I sit here ? " He asked and slid in to the chair . It was more of a rhetorical question.
