Chapter 1
Yvonne's POV
It's the 8th grade promotion today. I'm going to miss everyone so much. But next year I'm going to the White Wolf High School!
I'm on the stage where everyone else is. I'm with my Best friend right next to me.
"Yvonne! C'mon your next!" Diego says to me.
I look and see it's my turn. I grab my promotion paper and say my speech.
"Thank you for everyone and for my family for coming here to see all of us graduate. I'm going to miss WoodLand Middle and all the students here. I've had the best moments and times here. Especially with my Best friend." I say as I look at him.
He steals the mic and says "She's taken by the way."
"Sorry that's so embarrassing I'm not taken I'm single." I say while making an annoyed face at Diego.
I walk down the stairs and my family greets me and Diego comes down and hugs me.
"I'll see you next year right?" I ask him.
"Yes I promise." He says.
I really like Diego..But he probably likes someone else.
