I walked into the kitchen confused. My dad is in the same cheerful mood at always, but that's not always a bad thing. ''Hey dad, have you heard from Taylor? She hasen't been answering my calls or anything. It's been days, i'm getting worried.'' He had a confused look on his face too. He thought something bad might have happened. ''No, sorry. Is she busy or something?'' It took me a minute to reply. i was thinking if she told me something that I might have missed. I couldn't think of anything. ''No, the last time I talked to her is when she asked to hang out and I said I couldn't, because I was with you. My dad picked his cell phone up and started looking through it, To see if she had called or something. No call. ''Well that's strange, just give it a few days.'' I wonder what happened, She has never done this before. She didn't even tell me she was going anywhere. Maybe she will answer my call if I try one more time. I called 2 times to see if she just wasn't around when I called. She answered. She said to meet me at the park.
''Hey dad, can I go to the park? Taylor answered, and she said to meet me there'' His voice changed.... ''Well, um. I guess'' What's wrong with dad? He never hesitates. ''Dad, are you okay?'' His face looked like he was hiding something. ''Um, yeah. Be safe.'' I walked out the door and on the way to the park I started to think. Is this just a prank? Is she mad? Did she get kidnapped?
She gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. ''So, um you didn't cancel this time?'' I didn't know what she was talking about. What did I cancel? I canceld our plans a few times, but just a few. ''What do you mean?'' I replied with a confused look. ''You know, you didn't cancel for your dad? I thought you hated him! And now, i'm nothing but a joke. You have been playing me this whole time. I'm so stupid for thinking you accualy cared. I didn't know that she felt that way. I wasn't replaceing her or anything. I just have been hanging out with my dad more then usual. No big deal. ''No! You know thats not true! We just have been bonding lately. I didn't see him for what he really was.'' She didn't belieave me. ''Yeah, okay. Whatever, just leave me alone.'' She started walking away, and so did I. I feel kind of bad. But I didn't do anything. She is just getting mad because She isn't the only person in my life anymore. But whatever, she will get over it.
