I woke up as I smelt eggs and pancakes cooking. It took me a minute to get up. I slowy stoop and walked to the kitchen. ''Hey pumpkin nice sleep? I am making break feast and then later we will go out for pizza.'' He said as if he were the happiest person alive. ''Sounds like a plan!'' I replied. I walked in my room and shut the door. Someone was calling. It to me a few seconds to answer because I just changed my ring tone to ''Happy Days''. It was Taylor. 'What why is she calling? We don't have plans today, infact she said she was going to the mall with her family.' I thought to myself . She was so loud I bet China can hear her. She called to see if I could hang out today becasue her plans got changed. I would say yes, but my dad and I have plans. I can't bail on him, and I don't really want to.
I walked into the livingroom. My dad just told me that we were about to leave. As we were almost there, he told me That he is glad that we are going. ''Me too. Thanks, and I love you.'' I told him in a happy voice. ''Oh, no problem. I love you too, we are going to have so much fun.'' For once I actualy agree, we will have fun. I wish I would have relized that he isn't the worst dad after all. Some people don't even have a dad or a mom. We arrived at the pizza place. He got us in then we went to go get pizza. ''So um, why did you change your mind about me?'' He asked nervous that I was ganna say I didn't change my mind or something. ''Well I guess I miss mom so much I never really relized that You accualy care about me.'' I said back. He got a big smile on his face and said, ''Well I miss her too. There isn't a day in this world when I don't think about her. I just to see people for who they are. That's how I found your mother. She was a amazing mom and a friend. She always knew what to tell you, I'm sorry I don't.'' I started to tear up. I finally saw my dad for him. I never took the time to see him for who his is, I always thought just because he always saif yes, never called to see if I was okay, or anything. I wish I did.
A few hours past by. ''Hey pumkin, it's getting late. I think we better head out.'' I was sad to leave, but I had a great day. ''Yeah, This was fun, I can't wait to come back here with you again.''
