And we went to the orphanage, it looks so big. I went inside and see children playing and reading and the caretaker there told me to play with them. Well I don't see Dan Or Phil so I sat beside a girl that is a reading a book with a good cover. "Hello my name is Madison". "Hi Madison I'm Nicole." I smiled and looked at her book, "That look like a good book" she smiled at me and shows the book named 'Harry Potter'. We laugh and do so many things like playing at the playground and reading so many books.
After a month Dan and Phil haven't come back and I still think that they will adopt me. And in this one month I had been here it's not a good place. Guess the good thing is I have Nicole with my side.
The older kids are very mean and rude. It may be because of how mean some of the caretakers are to them. Being quiet is a bad thing when imaginary voices are talking to you when you're alone.
"Something's wrong with you Maddie." Nicole said and it's kinda true. I think I'm used to not eating and being alone. And looking as she is older than me means she knows everything. And the nightmares, I can't forget about that. It always haunted me even before I was an orphan. I really miss my foster parents.
Nicole said that I'm depressed. I don't know what that means because it's a big word but she told me I was being very sad and I'm not eating so much and I only like on bed. And it's true, the chaos of the outside is not good for me.
And here I am, curled like a ball on my bed crying, hugging my blanket and waiting for things to change. I'm losing hope.
