Waking up is a new thing everyday, we never know what would happen in a daily basis. Or just doing nothing because most of the time we stay home.
"Can we go outside?" I asked Phil who is eating cereal from a box. He answered "Maybe you should ask Dan." After finishing the box and throwing it away. Going to Dan's room really the source of awkward meetings. I went to his room and saw him butt naked while looking for something to wear. I covered my eyes and told him "Dad please lock the door next time!" I didn't see his reaction but he screamed "Oh my God! I'm so sorry!!" And pushes me out of the room and locked the door.
I go to where Phil is, but giving up after I can't find and and went to my room. My dark blue room with a book shelf and a picture of me and Nicole. I smiled and thought 'I'm happy that I have Dan and Phil and how nice to adopt me, but I feel something is wrong.'
I lay on my bed and looks at the ceiling and hugs my blanket. It reminds me about my parents, my old dead parents who are kind enough to take care of me even if I'm not their child. Thinking about it makes me cry every time.
"Maddie you should get ready, we're going out!" Phil called and I wiped my tears off. You don't know what would happen after today. So I changed in my white shirt, black skirt and blue step-ins and fixed my hair in pigtails. I go to Phil and saw him sitting on the lounge and scrolling on his phone. He looked at me "You look so cute Maddie." He said as I sit beside him
"Thank you!"
"Now we wait for Dan, who always late in this." Said Phil and I thought of bringing up what happened to Dan earlier. We both laugh and at the same time Dan came in the lounge dressed in a blue shirt and ripped jeans.
"What are you laughing at?" He asked. "I told you Dan to lock the door and now we can't stop laughing on how awkward it was!" Phil said in between laughs. "Sorry for walking in and not knocking at the door." I said as Dan sat beside me making me smile. "It's ok, my room is the most awkward room in this whole apartment." He joked.
"Well what are we waiting for, let's go!" Phil said with excitement. And we went off, I'm very excited to have an adventure with my dads.
