I don't want this. My father runs away with his duty leaving me behind with all the responsibility of carrying the Aisaka legacy on my shoulder. I was eight years old when my father decided that he wanted to leave japan to find contentment on his career in life. I was left with my grandfather, he teach me the way of the Aisaka.
To the world I was known to be Aisaka Reina.
I was the heir to the Aisaka Family, born of high status and carried wealth under my name.
I was desirable for my name, wealth and specially my body. Any man can be drawn to me and make me a suitable wife. But none of them would have taken a chance to know me beyond that.
I came to know that during my first engagement with Fujiwara Hayato. He seems charming or rather handsome and had a way with his word that I couldn't object to when accepting a suitor. Despite not feeling anything towards Fujiwara.
I eventually get use to this and accepted that this would be my life from now on. But it didn't matter, as I tried to rationalize. This is for the Aisaka family... This is for the Aisaka family - I chanted it on my mind repeatedly to keep myself sane.
"Reina are you serious? You wanted to manage our business in the Philippines?"... Grandfather was insanely mad. "Or are you just running away from Hayato-kun?"
"I'm not."... I answered him with a stern look. "I am the chairman's granddaughter so I should take care all of our business, when and where ever it is."
Grandfather sighted with exasperation.
"Do what ever you want. However when the time comes for your marriage. I want you to come back immediately here in Japan."
"Yes, Grandfather. Thank you for trusting me."
I prepared myself to travel leaving Japan as like my father did. And yes I wanted to be free from grandfather, from Hayato. even if it is only for a brief time I want to feel how to be free.
"Rei?"... My deepest thought was been interrupted when Ayami Momoko called me. She was my childhood friend. Momo-san was the one managing the business here in the Philippines.
