Waltz of the Prophet and Power
The marble, the candles
The dark and the glowing
Reflecting and dancing
Black suits and dress flowing
One two three, hear the beat
Violin, strings and base
He's dancing, she's singing
The prophet, sweet face
He's smiling, she's seeing
One two three, four five six
He walks up with a grin
Behind him folks mix
"May I ask you to dance?"
The man asks with a smile
And she nods, green eyes glow
Music plays all the while
They both sway to the pulse
The rhythm, it drives all
One two three, four five six
People stare, all appalled
This blind one, who shall see
This power, who sees none
They spin and they whirl and they dance for no one
Until with a flourish
And a single harsh note
All that's left of the two
Is a glass shoe and a coat
