{DAY IV}

- Night {18h00 - 00h00}

It was Halloween. I was very excited and ready. I was going to be a witch. I wore orange and white legging, my usual black dress, my hat, black boots, and an obviously fake broom.

Alyssa was dressed for Christmas, as usual. What a fool, confuse CHRISTMAS, with HALLOWEEN. Two very different dates.

I was hoping to go pick up sweets and then go to the haunted houses and other attractions. Alyssa took our pumpkins and we left her mansion.

We went to several houses. In the beginning, it was cool. But I began to get kind of boring to say "Sweets or treats." From house to house.

- Hey, Lyssa! - I called. Alyssa turned to me. - Shall we go to the haunted houses ?

She nodded, but before we could go, we heard a noise. Several people were confused, but gathered around a master of ceremonies.

I was overcome by curiosity and ran to the crowd. Alyssa followed me, confused, trying to understand what was happening.

- Ladies and Gentlemen, citizens of Holiday City. Today, on this illustrious Halloween night, I bring you the circus of souls. Only the bravest will come to witness the scary attractions of the Circus of Souls. We'll open today, at midnight sharp. Be there! And happy Halloween ... for EVERYONE! - The Master of Ceremonies announced, and shortly thereafter he disappeared into the famous smokescreen.

I just stared, as if everything was paralyzed around me. There was something very strange about that circus.

- Hey, Lyssa! - I called, but I could not find her anywhere.

- Lyssa ? Lyssa ? - I called again, worried.

In the middle of Halloween night, Alyssa decides to disappear. Great. Now I was alone with a strange circus called the circus of souls. It reminds me a lot of something dangerous.

But to prove my theory that there was magic involved in all this, I would have to take my chances by going in there. I sighed.

That would be easy. But if I got caught ... I tried not to think the worst of it.

I still had my wand, even being forbidden to use it, was a case of utmost importance.

Quickly, I pulled my wand from the box and held it firmly. Since it was Halloween, no one would be suspicious.

I started walking around town, looking for Alyssa or anyone else I knew. In this case, Harriet

I felt my foot slip into something, more precisely, a paper. I bent to look, not believing what my eyes were seeing.

Well, at least now, I knew where I had to go. My hands were sweating. I was nervous. I sighed to calm myself.

I would save people. It could not be a bad thing. In a few hours, the circus would begin.

I started walking towards the abandoned tower, knowing that it was not called that way. What a bunch of idiots.

- Midnight {00h00 - 6h00}

It was finally time for the show. I shivered from head to foot, but I entered the tent of the Circus.

Everything inside was colorful, even though it was Halloween. The master of ceremonies was in the middle of the stage, this time in a different outfit.

I sat down deep in the background, ready to rush if necessary.

- Hello, ladies and gentleman! Welcome to the show today ... I hope you get scared and enjoy Halloween! He announced, and the curtains closed.

It was my cue. I took my wand and muttered an invisibility spell, so I would not be recognized or seen.

I left the tent, trembling with fear, but with a little confidence. I turned around and found the artists entrance, which was fortunately open.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and entered. But at the same time, a group of artists was passing by. They were hideous and I got scared, knocked over my wand in progress and the spell was over.

They looked at me and walked towards me. Horrified and panicked, I took the wand off the ground and started running away. I was not quick, but it was a matter of life and death.

The staff continued to follow me, to the corner house and the street I passed. No matter how hard I tried to run.

I continued. Could not stop for a minute. I grabbed my wand and muttered a spell of speed, so I would go faster.

Now I could run without getting tired. They were kind of dumb, because they still followed me around.

I continued to run without stopping. Even with the spell, I did not want to be cornered or something else.

The tension was big and worse: I really got skinned.

I thought I'd stripped them off and stopped at a dead end. I far, the artists approached in Grand number. Had they duplicated, that fast ?

One of them looked at me crookedly. They were in front of the exit of the alley and I had no way to escape to nowhere.

The artists had won. One of them, who seemed to be a wizard, murmured something and vineyards sprang up from the floor, gripping me tightly. What the hell! I should have thought better before doing this.

I began to lose consciousness, even though I was very resistant. I dropped my wand and broom to the ground and vineyards tightened.

My conscience told me I should have been smarter, but it was not the time to think about it.

Slowly, everything around me was in slow motion and I could not see right.

My vision began to blur and I could see black spots.

Finally, everything went black and I did not see anything else before I passed out completely.
