Chapter 23: love and kindness

Hey guys I got positive feedback so I guess I'll continue this story among my few others that I'm working on. I hope you enjoy the new chapter. :)

My pov:
I look at him as he smiles slightly at me and I run my fingers through his thick hair . "Thank you for taking me out on this date.. I think today will be a nice peaceful day" I smile softly as he nods in response.
"It will we wonderful and passionate my love" he whispers softly his long fingers caressing my cheekbone.  Making heat rise to them slowly as I stare into his wonderful eyes.
"You know I packed us some lunch if you would like me to go get the basket from the car?" He asks softly starting to get up from his spot right next to mine. I nod watching him leave my vision  ,soon he comes back smiling and carrying a picnic basket with a blanket in his arms. I smile at him helping him set the soft blanket down onto the grass.
"Thank you for doing this you know you didn't have too.. Right?" I smile asking him but he only chuckles softly in return and goes in to kiss me tenderly on the cheek " my love.. I would do anything for my mate." He smiles at me running his fingers through my hair.
I feel my face burning quickly knowing that a blush has risen to my cheeks. "God you're so damn cute" I hear him chuckle as he grabs nicely made sandwiches and a bottle of red wine, with some chocolate covered strawberries looking like they were freshly made by him it makes me gasp, not knowing he would go through all the trouble of doing this for me.

"Do you like it?" He asks with a goofy smile on his face as he scratches the back of his neck nervously making me smile even more, wondering why I wouldn't even like this I love it." I love it Parker.. It's wonderful thank you so much.. You didn't have to go through all the trouble of doing this for me " I smile leaning over and kissing his warm soft lips.
He kisses back smiling against my warm lips , but soon pulling away only to whisper "but I wanted too.. Sorry if it's to much for you I can put some of it away if you like?" He asks looking worried .
It causes me only to chuckle in response and to lean over to peck his lips then pick up my sandwich "no don't I like this.. Trust me" I laugh softly as he smiles in response his cheeks turning light pink as I eat it.

Parker's pov:
"She loves it.. She loved my idea.. Our mate.." Dark howls in my mind making me smile."our idea dark" I laugh softly in return.
I smile at her love seeing how her face lights up as I take everything out of the basket for her.
