Chapter 8 Return To The Phantomhive Manor

My fluffy bed greets me and calls to me as I get up and prepare for the day.

I'm back at the Phantomhive Manor by choice and I've decided to trust Sebastian. I'm still skeptical of him though.

I get on my now red maid outfit. Apparently Sebastian loves the color red on me. But not as much as black.

Maybe he's turning into Grell?

Nah!

I giggle at my thoughts and Sebastian comes in.

"What are you giggling at?" Sebastian asks.

"Nothing Bessie" I laugh.

"What did you call me?" Sebastian asks.

"Crap, I've been around Grell too much!" I say laughing even more.

"Just don't turn into a psychotic Reaper" Sebastian chuckles.

"What's wrong with the Reapers Sebby?"

"Their just not bright" He replies.

I frown. My best friends are Grell, Undertaker, and William. They're all Reapers.

I follow him to the Master's room and follow him in to wake up Ciel.

After that the day was long and boring. Meyrin was off seeing family, Finny was sick, Bard was busy outside, and Tanaka was......Tanaka.

The day was very boring.

When me and Sebby put Ciel to bed I went back to room and stripped for a bath. I ran some hot water and got my soap before getting in.

I started to sing a song that I made up as I sang. The words were crap but I somehow made it sound good.

I got done in the bath and wrapped myself in a warm towel which I started to purr to myself at the warmth. Leaving the bathroom I got on my nightgown after drying off and sought into the hallway for some help.

I've always hated doing this, cleaning my ears in demon form. I went by Finny's room to hear him tossing and turning, maybe a nightmare?

I quietly opened the door and went into his room.

Poor Finny was sweating up a storm. He woke up with a small squeel and looked up at me.

"Are you Okay Finny?" I ask quietly.

"Just a nightmare and a headache" He replies.

"I'll make you some soup, that makes me feel better when I'm sick" I smile.

"Oh its okay" Finny tries to say.

"I want you to feel better, I'm making you some soup. I'll be back" I smile leaving the room.

I tiptoe to the kitchen and get out the ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup.

After a short while of preparing I'm done and I walk back to Finny's room. I open the door and walk in before sitting down and handing Finny his soup.

He starts to eat and I can see him getting sleepy.

I take the soup from him and start singing a lullaby of gibberish words into a peaceful melody.

He's soon asleep and when I stop he frowns in his sleep and mumbles, "Don't stop Momma".

My eyes go wide before I smile. If that's what he thinks of me as, I accept it with pride.

I leave Finny's room and remember why I went roaming the halls, my ears aren't clean.

I run into Sebastian, litterally. I fall and he catches me quickly, pulling me back to him.

"Lost?" He smirks.

"No I need assistance. I can't clean my ears by myself" I tell him slightly ashamed.

He chuckles laughing.

"I'll help"

I nod and we retreat to his room. He gets some Q-tips and I lay on his head face down waiting for pain in my ears.

But instead of pain I feel some pleasure as Sebastian gently cleans my ears.

I start to purr and Sebastian chuckles.

After he's done with both ears Sebastian takes me in his arms and cradles me.

I smile and fall asleep.

Little did I know my dreams would be filled with fear and terror.

Drowning.

I can't breathe.

Sebastian stood looking down at me into the lake.

"Help!!" I try to yell but more water fills my lungs.

But he doesnt.

I'm pulled down farther into the lake.

I can't breathe, my vision is started to blur.

I finally shut me eyes and I scream as something grabs me around my waist and squeezing me, squeezing the life from me.

I push the....thing off me and try to swim.

But I'm unmoving.

"Save me"

I'm waken up by the deep velvet voice of Sebastian.

"What's wrong Charlotte?" He asks.

I hug him tightly and a few tears leave my eyes. I pull away and look at him.

"I want to make a contract"
