"Marco Marco Marco" star yelled as she pulled him close then all of sudden a blue orb surrounds Marco picking him up "no don't take my Marco away from me" star says as he disappears into thin air "no Marco" star said in a low defeated voice as she falls to her knees crying "why did you have to take him away from me" out of the corner of stars eye she saw the box that Marco trapped the evil one with "if Marco is truly gone then I must insure that the box shall never see the light of day" she said taking the box and headed towards the palace to secure the relic |MEANWHILE IN SOME DESOLATE REALM| Marcos POV|"what where am I" "you my dear boy are in the Magic Realm of Mercantis" "No it can't be that's just a myth" "no I'm quite real" "wait your Mercantis?" "In the flesh" "wow it's such and honor to meet you sir" "just call me Mercan" "okay Mercan what am I doing here?" "Well with the battle of your evil self you kind of got killed" "so I'm dead,oh no what about Star" "your not dead I brought you back and she is fine but she won't be if I don't train you in the art of magic" "so you are going to train me in the art of magic?" "Of course but only when your fully trained and ready for what's to come" "what's coming" "in due time Marco,in due time" |Meanwhile back a mewni| Stars POV "i still can't believe that Marco is gone,the feeling of his cold expression as I held him in my arms as he drew his finally breath,it all still feels like it just happened yesterday but it's been a week since he passed" Star thought as she heard a knock on her door "Star hunny you need to come out of your room,I know that Marco is gone but you have to try and move on I know he would want you to" Stars mom said "I can't he was my best friend and the biggest crush I've ever had,I'll find a way to bring him back" "you already have dear and you see how that turned out" her mom said in a calm tone "true but before he died his body split into two of him,his evil side and his good side and he had powers stronger than mine" "wait stronger than yours,are you sure?" "Well yeah he trapped his evil side in a magical box" she said getting up and walking towards the box handing it to her mother "these symbols are very familiar" moon said as she ran down the stairs to her personal library while Star followed her "mom what's going on" "there is a book in my library that has the origin of these symbols,ahh here it is" she said pulling a book off a shelf "The Tales if Mercantis" "who's that" Star said really confused "well dear he is the most powerful Mage in all of mewni,and it's said that he was the one who created our wand through generations" "so where is Marco" "well did anything happen when you know held Marco" "uh yeah some sort of blue sphere was circling him and then he vanished" "then I believe I know where he is" "so he really is not dead?" Star said with excitement "if Mercantis has him he is surely alive and has a important role to mantle,Mercantis is known for his sure training in the art of magic so this means that Marco has a part of mercantises powers in him,that's why his magic was more powerful than yours and it might stay that way" "I don't care about that how do we get him back?" "We have to wait because only he can break the bond that Mercantis has on him so he won't be back until he finishes his training" "how long will that take?" Star said a bit worried "well it all matters on who he trains it could take years" "years I don't have years I need him here on mewni" "it will be fine star go back to your room and sleep I'll see what I can't do" "okay" Star said as she headed to her room to sleep. As Star went to sleep moon kept reading to try and find some way of contacting Marco to see if he was okay 2 hours later "finally a spell to contact Mercantis" "su Le mon ser der ma o sa Mercan" moon said as she saw a rift open up and give her a talk with mercantis himself "you must be moon" "how do you know that?" "I'm the all knowing mercantis,I know everything I also know that your here to talk to Marco" "so he is alive" "yes he is I brought him back myself " "can I talk to him?" "I'll make an exception" Marcos pov "Marco Marco you there" "moon what are you doing here?" "I came to see if you were alright" "yeah I'm great just learning magic and getting better at it" "that's great Star is worried about you" "I figured she might be since well I did die in her arms" "want me to go get her so she can see you?" "No I need you to tell her that I'm dead" "why?" "It's best if she believes that I'm dead cause she has to be strong if she is going to run mewni one day" "yeah but you can as well by her side" "as soon as I'm done with my training I have to leave mewni and start a different life" "but what about her she loves you" "I understand that but she would be better off without me any way" "I thought you were the best for my Star but I guess I was wrong" moon yelled as she ended the spell and cried "you did good my boy,I know that it was a hard decision to make but less friends the better so that you Can focus on your training for what's to come" "yes mercan" "now get some rest we have very important training to do tomorrow "yes sir" Marco said as he headed to his room to sleep and get prepared for tomorrow Meanwhile in Mercantises lair "what of the boy" an anonymous voice said "he is training with me and should have full strength in no time" "excellent once he has reached full potential then we can ascend to faze 2" "yes my lord"

FanficIt was the first time in forever for Marco realizing that he couldn't see star as a freind but as more than that so this endless quest of his continues but how dangerous does it hold for the safe kid will he find love,sadness or death.
