Chapter 26

Five minutes later Austin is there to pick me up in the school parking lot

"Hey babe what's wrong?" Austin's asks with a worried expression.

"Let's just talk once we get home ok?" I reply back.

Once we get home and get settled on the couch Austin pulls me into his chest and whisper into my ear "Now tell me what's up so I can fix it."

"It's Amber. She ditched us for the populars. You should have heard her she sounded ridiculous. They must have said something to her."

"Ok I am tired of this. I'm going to go talk to her." Austin says clearly annoyed by her.

"You'd do that for me?"

"Anything for you. Your welcome to come. I'm going now. We are going to the office and pulling her out of class."

"Ok." I say a little nervous.

Lyssa struts in the office like she owns it all.

"Yes Mrs... Oh you." She glares at me.

"Austin is here to pick you up."

"Let's take a ride."

We decide on stopping at the neighborhood park. We find a nice spot on the grass to settle and talk.

"So Lyssa do you think you have anything to say about this whole thing going on?" Austin asks with intensity.

"Umm.. I can explain." Lyssa stutters

"Ok explain." I say rudely

Lyssa glares at me. "Ok I'm jealous of you. Truth is you have everything I could ever want. At home I get abused and feel I have to take it out on someone. My parents died in a car crash when I was five and my uncle adopted me. Once my uncle even raped me and got me pregnant causing me to get an abortion."

"Lyssa do you have any idea what I've been through. Do you know why i live with Austin? My dad has been gone for years and my mom just died in car accident. Add on top of that I'm pregnant now at 16 and have to go to school. My best friend left me for you guys. Do you have any idea how I feel? I'm sorry but sometimes life isn't fair." There I got it out.

"Your best friend coming to us isn't my fault. I even tried talking her out of hanging with us. I gave her a lecture about you and having great friends and not wanting to be friends with us. She should be talking to you and Alex after school. Ellie I'm sorry for everything I've put you through and I'm asking you to forgive me and for us just to all be friends. It seems Xander may have a little crush on you." Lyssa says wiggling her eyebrows.

"I have a boyfriend." I says with a gasp but soon after start laughing and then soon we are all giggling.

"Aww Austin your the best. Thanks for getting her so I could talk to her." I cry giving Austin a kiss on the cheek.

"How about we all hang out after school today. It is Friday, we can all have a sleep over.

"Sounds like a plan."

A/N: ok I know this is short but it's just a filler for not updating in a while. I don't quite remember everything I wrote before but I know how I'm going to end it still. Feedback is welcomed.
