Nathan opened up his door on a stormy night to see Claudia standing there, she was holding a broken umbrella.

"Claudia, what're you doing here? Aren't the roads all closed? It's, like, martial law, or something." Nathan shouted as he looked at the rain, Claudia wiped her face.

"I know, I know, but I had to talk to you. I decided to go to Duke!" Claudia grinned ecstatically, waiting for his response. Thunder struck again.

"Whoa, OK, why do you come inside?" Nathan shouted shocked over the rain, Claudia walked into the house and Nathan closed the door.

"OK, so I've been doing some research and Duke has an amazing basketball programme. I mean, their coach, this guy, uh,... Coach Ker-Kretazuski is like, a legend!" Claudia explained as they walked into the living room. Nathan looked at her grinning. Claudia took of her jacket and sat down.

"Coach Krzyzewski?" Nathan corrected and Claudia stared at him wide eyed.

"Kersha-yeah, what?" Claudia laughed confused.

"People call him Coach K." Nathan shrugged and Claudia nodded her head.

"And so should you. I mean, you should have this opportunity." Claudia said as she stood up. "Duke's a really great school and I think I could be really happy there. Especially if I was with you." Claudia grinned.

"Well, you can't go to Duke, Claudia." Nathan stated and Claudia's jaw dropped. "And I don't want you to." Nathan smiled and Claudia stood there, too hurt to move.

"Y-... you don't want me to. Right." Claudia stuttered nodding her head. Nathan turned off the TV. Claudia turned to face him. "Right, what was I thinking? Because you told me that you love me after that basketball game and, silly me, I just thought that feeling would last for longer than, I don't know, one night!" Claudia shouted hurt as she slipped on her jacket. Nathan grinned at her. "But, then you are the guy who has to ruin everything, right when I think we could be getting somewhere." Claudia stated harshly and she began to stomp to the door.

"Claudia." Nathan called after her. Claudia turned around- raging.

"Is this because of the sex?" She blurted out. "Because to be honest I am still pissed off about that." Claudia stated angrily, Nathan refrained from saying anything. He just smiled widely. "What?" Claudia asked shocked.

"Claudia, you can't go to Duke... because I'm going to UCLA." Nathan stated and the lights went out.

"Good sign or bad?" Claudia asked as they lightening continued to light up the sky.

Claudia was sitting at the counter while Nathan looked through cupboards for food.

"Alright, we got Dip-n-Dots, no G." Nathan said holding a lamp. Claudia grinned as she squirted out syrup. "Snack-pack puddin', no G. And my personal favourite," Nathan continued as he pulled out a plastic tub, "Cap'ain Crunch, no T." He finished and Claudia laughed. Nathan shut the cupboard door and walked to her with the lamp. "Basically, foods missing consonants." Nathan added as she placed the tub on the table and sat down.

"When I was younger, my sister and I would eat like the whole bag together while watching cartoons." Claudia explained as she grinned at Nathan.

"What, was that, like, a year ago?" Nathan asked jokingly as Claudia licked her finger.

"Well aren't you mister wise guy." Claudia replied laughing. "I am seventeen and I have all these questions that I need to know the answer to. It is just way too much for me." Claudia groaned and she ate her food.
