"You know, now that we're living here, we should probably try unpacking at some point." Claudia laughed as she and Nathan lay in bed together. A shirtless Nathan was cuddling Claudia sideways as she held the duvet up to her shoulders.
"Yeah, well, we've been a little busy doing this." Nathan stated as he kissed her back. "So much better than moving in." He continued and Claudia laughed.
"I can't wait to renew my vows with you." Claudia replied grinning.
"Me, too. I want that second chance, Claudia. I want to give you that wedding you always dreamed of." Nathan explained and Claudia looked over at him.
"I already had a dream wedding." Claudia admitted honestly, all she needed was Nathan.
"No, but you told me how you saw it. In the church gardens where your parents got married. All the bridesmaids and groomsmen, flowers everywhere. I want that for you." Nathan replied and Claudia didn't know how it was this possible to love someone.
"Okay, I guess unpacking can wait." Claudia laughed as they went back to kissing. There was a strange noise and they stopped. Claudia sat up a little and held the duvet to her chest. "What is that?" Claudia asked got up and walked over to the golf clubs. "Do you want me to call 911?" Claudia asked as Nathan held a baseball bat.
"No,no,no. Just wait there, okay?" Nathan stated before he walked out of the bedroom. He walked down the hallway holding the bat and switched on the lights. He was away to hit the person before he realised it was his Uncle Cooper.
"So how much for the wall ? I'm guessing it's less without the creepy clown." Cooper joked as he tilted his beer bottle towards the pink wall.
"Uncle Cooper. What are you doing here, man?" Nathan asked shocked before they hugged.
"It's one in the morning. I'm starving." Cooper joked as he walked to the kitchen. Claudia stood at the bedroom door awkwardly.
"What's going on, Nate?" Claudia asked confused as she held her hands across her.
"Who wants breakfast?" Cooper exclaimed and Claudia didn't know what was going on.
"It's okay!" Nathan replied smiling. Claudia still wasn't sure she walked forward one step. "Come on." Nathan said ushering her forward. Claudia walked into the kitchen and sat on the stool.
"So, it's Claudia. English, right?" Cooper asked smiling at his niece in law. "I always wanted to meet the girl who made my nephew crash a perfectly good race car." Cooper continued as he took a swig of his beer.
"And I always wanted to meet the uncle who let Nathan crash a race car." Claudia replied back smartly as she took a napkin from Nathan.
"She's tough, Nate. I like her." Cooper said smirking at Claudia, who was smiling graciously. "You know, your mom's back in town." Cooper stated and Nathan nodded his head.
"Yeah, she called actually. Unlike you, she has the decency not to storm our apartment at 1:00 in the morning." Nathan joked and Cooper scoffed.
"Hey, give me a break. I was hungry, all right?" Cooper laughed as he tended to the food. "Oh by the way, I met this smoking-hot girl. She's 26, she's a model. You know, my type. She's home from New-York, she's housesitting for her parents. I'm telling you, God loves me." Cooper explained as he turned to face the married couple.
"So, are you staying for a while?" Nathan asked.
"Absolutely. If you saw the girl, Nate, you'd know why, too." Cooper exclaimed and Claudia looked uncomfortable, Cooper picked up on it. "Sorry." Cooper said and Claudia smiled awkwardly. "So, Nate, listen, I'm sorry about Keith." Cooper explained and Claudia looked down. "How's Lucas taking it?" Cooper asked concerned.
