Chapter 7

I slip in through the window, to see Sara smiling more than usual.

"What happened this time..?" I ask her, as she turns to face me with giggles.

"Maya..I think Alex and I have an unofficial thing going on," she stops giggling, just smiling.

"Didn't we already assume that..?" I ask her.

"I guess so..Diamond kept asking me lately if we're together or not," she mentions, as she shrugs.

"Maybe she's just curious," I tell Sara, trying to hide my "I know something you don't" look.

Sara looks into my eyes," Sis..is there something you're not telling me?"

I nervously scratch my right arm with my left hand, looking down at the floor, then up at her, regaining my confidence. I sigh, as she develops a serious face.

"Thunder!" Sara says, raising her hand, as I do the same.

"Lightning!-so.Diamond isn't the only one. People have been asking me and Henry all throughout the week.."

"Sis, how could you not tell me?!" She asks me.

"I don't know..I guess, I didn't want everyone asking to pressure you and Alex to jumpstart your relationship," I explain, as Sara nods in agreement.

"Well, I'm glad you did, sis," Sara hugs me.

"So," I change the subject,"do you wanna go out and buy some outfits for the dance in 2 days..?"

"Yesss!" Sara says, excitedly, getting up. "But first...Mom, can I go out with Maya to buy some new--"

"Come home by 6!" Mrs. WIlson shouts, as we exchange smiles and go out through the window.

*Sara's POV*

"Sis, how does this look?" I show Maya, as she spins around hers.

"That looks amazing!" She says, as I tell her the same. 

"And guess what, Maya?!" I change the subject.

"What?" Maya asks with excitement.

"My mom gotta call from school..and there's gonna be a talent show!" I try to contain my excitement.

We hold hands and squeal," Omg, you and Alex should totally sing something..!"

"And what's Menry gonna do..?-" I ask her, as she cuts me off.

"-Back up dance!" Maya bursts into giggles.

"Oml," I facepalm, laughing.

"Ooh, what if you guys sang First Love..?" Maya smirks.

"I doubt he'd wanna sing that.." I tell her, chuckling.

"So you don't deny the fact that you do wanna sing with him..?" Maya smirks again.

I develop a smile, blushing," Maya, you outta all people should know..how long I've been waiting for the moment, I sing with him.."

"Aww. My otp," Maya coos, as we check out our dresses.

*Alex's POV*

I CAN'T WAIT..I'M SO PUMPED!..

Me: GUESS WHAT BRO?!

Will: Oh no, what happened this time? when alex types in all caps with punctuation at the end, it bad

Me: ik this is so last min BUT..THERE'S GONNA BE A TALENT SHOW IN 2 WEEKS AT SCHOOL. NO AUDITIONS!
