"Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all?"
Not I,
The princess thought.
But truth be told it was the princess,
And all could see it but her.
When everyone around her saw beauty and felt love,
She saw imperfection and felt hate.
Whether it was her milky skin or jet black hair,
She found more and more to criticize.
Her hatred sparked a fire inside,
A fire that could not be tamed.
Her eyes that were once so alive,
Her voice that was once so kind,
Now held no emotion at all.
Not knowing how to handle the pain that was eating her alive,
She sought out for a knife but changed her mind.
She didn't want to disappoint,
And scars would not make her more beautiful.
When the time came for her to be killed,
She did not object.
But the huntsman was too kind and spared her life one last time.
With the order to go and never return,
Snow White wandered into the forest.
She was offered a place with seven little dwarfs,
But rejected, claiming to not want to be a bother.
She didn't want to bother other peoples' happiness with her sadness.
As time went on she lived alone,
With no company but her own.
She became lonelier and lonelier,
Sadder and sadder,
And the fire was spreading inside her.
This fire lead to an eating disorder,
Which lead to sickness,
Which lead to death.
But the princess didn't mind,
For she had only been half alive for a while.
This fire was called depression.
And it has burned millions of other peoples' minds and souls like Snow White's.

I've decided to try and make these poems more realistic now..?
This will be the least updated out of all of my books.
